I think that this just goes to show that Sid is a COMMIE PINKO BASTARD and obviously against the sacred tenents of Capitalism (ahmen). My fellow consumers, it is to you I say this, support this boycott! Think of the children!! Oh won't someone think of the children! I mean, they'll see all those hammers (and God knows that Sid probably put some sickles in there as well ... what are those "workers" using huh??) and they will all turn COMMIE!! Dear Lord, please save our Capitalism (ahmen).

I wonder if they originally were going to use hammers for Civ1 in 1990 but they left them out because the U.S.S.R. was still around...

Look, here is absolute proof that shields are infinitely superior to hammers:



Behold! Video evidence! Notice how the guy with a hammer cannot kill his foe! And the foe laughs at him! And the use of the hammer has made the attacker too idiotic to wear anything but that stupid grin. Meanwhile, the other guy uses his shield to stop a fregging TANK! Or another example: How many times have you used a hammer to pound in a nail? It takes several hits to defeat that pathetic bit of iron, doesn't it? Now how many times have you used a shield to pound in a nail? Never--Because the all-powerful might of the shield would annihilate your entire house if you dared use it for such a lowly task! Sheesh it's a game! Who the heck cares what icons they use, people can just mod them out anyway. This is getting blown way out of proportion. We're supposed to be losing sleep, drooling over the screenshots of Civ4, to be released in about one month's time, not scrutainizing every tiny detail! Although having the units in the same size scale as the cities would be nice.

2. Great people in history should be limited to Jesus and Condi Rice, and perhaps Daddy Bush
3. There should be no tax rate slider for the rich
4. There should only be 2 civic options
a. Living with God under Capitalism (ahmen)
b. Commie pinko bastard crap (has -400 penalty to every stat for that "civ" if you can even call it that)

I expect nothing better then the distorted TRUTH of the imperialist dogs(capitalist). It about time sid realised that the real power lies with the workers, but the hammers don't go far enough, sickles should be used to represent food for without these, workers would not be able to harvest the food. 4. Worker under Socialism will do their work 800% faster than Imperalist countries because they are not exploited and get just rewards for their efforts.
5. Greedy citizens of the Imperialist dogs will consume 4 food per person
6. All imperialist units will move half as fast because their big greedy bellies will get in their way.
