i think the boats are just normal game boats, but the plane is a zero like in civ V

The other leaders have a wonder in the background that associated with the civ they originate from. I'm not sure for Himiko. Might this be a wonder?

This is the first big look at the 'gameplay' camera rather than the more cinematic angles we've seen. Looks nice and readable!

And, once again, they look so much better facing the camera with a background.

Looks like one of Meiji Japan's uniques is an onsen.

I think the falconer is an alternate scout skin. Maybe it's like specific to certain civs (cultural variation, while others get the typical dog?)

I think that's correct, since the dog is there. Maybe it's the way of modelling increased scouting range: eagle-eye vision.

In the same scene, Ben Franklin is standing in front of a green banner adorned by what looks to me like a red lion passant.

England, or perhaps the Normans? The red on green makes me think Wales (or the Britons, whichever would be concurrent with Majapahit/Indonesia), but the tail is lacking the characteristic twirl that the y Ddraig Goch has.

I already love that japanese Onsen district or whatever it turns out to be

Really nice are also the eagle and these waterfalls tiles

Looks to be the Khmer Baray, seemingly a unique district for them. We’ve seen a more detailed instance of it in other footage.

We've been speculating on Jomon for Antiquity Japan, but Himiko was said to be queen of Wakoko so I guess that's another possibility. (Though Wakoko is a Chinese term and not exactly a flattering one.)
