Interesting game - liked the starting spot you had, they bay was cool. I had an equally good start as venice in an ffa - they can really pull away if you let them get the trade routes rolling. Probably very difficult to defend if you don't have a good spot, I was on a peninsula with capital between a mountain and coast... pretty lucky.

Yes, they have amazing potential. Sadly, I didn't have any nearby City States.
