Thank you. Yes, you're right, I'll see how to change that.Really enjoying this civ so far! Just one thing: it's kinda weird having Quebec City and Louisianian city Quebec in the same game, so any chance for a replacement city-state?
YesQuick question: can you get the UA yields if you replace an existing tile improvement?
So you can keep your workers busy once you have improved all you need.
This wasn't necessarily what I wanted, but in fact it works. I always play with Reforestation so in general, my workers are always busy, even at the end of the gameSo you can keep your workers busy once you have improved all you need.
It's a good idea, worth exploring. I'll think about it.Would it be possible to allow them to be re-bought, up to the total number you generated? Then you could use them more liberally.
Yes, that's what we wanted to do at the beginning but I don't know why, it didn't work. I'll look again. but the UI placement rules in the SQL database are quite restrictive, there are many cases missing to create original variations. And if we do it in lua, the AI doesn't know how to use it.The UI gives good yileds and a luxury, but Igot only 4 tiles. Maybe it can also be built around lakes. Do shrimps need salt water?
That's what I noticed too. Despite the Krewe and the Vieux Carré, something is missing to make it a Civ capable of CS victory. Ultimately it works better in warmonger civilizationIn total, the kit does not feel to offer enough for a tourism victory.
Thank you very much.Another fantastic design!
Thank you very much.
I'm finishing a new civ with @Txurce and the help of @jarcast2 and @adan_eslavo then I'll take another look at all the G&H civs to see what can be improved.
If all goes well, maybe at the end of the weekLooking forward to a new civ.
No, I agree. The mechanics are simpler than the Ainu and if the initial deployment works well (Don't lose any "Grand Voyageur" and make enough gold to build an army), the civilization is quite easy to play.I seems Louisiana does not play that much different from other civs in the end.
Just noticed how powerful the ignore terrain cost for all units is. If you safe up a few merchants, you can cover most needs. Cavalry and more so tanks with ignore terrain cost are extremely strong. That's what I noticed too. Despite the Krewe and the Vieux Carré, something is missing to make it a Civ capable of CS victory. Yes, I agree but at the same time, Louisiana doesn't really have a unique combat unit (other than the attracted one), do you think that's too powerful?Just noticed how powerful the ignore terrain cost for all units is. I think it's ok. It's also very map dependent. In my game, I was lucky to be able to invade weakened AIs with few units. Louisiana also has an xp penalty which I only got around due to several take city quests. Compared to other civs, they will get the crucial ranged siege units much later.Yes, I agree but at the same time, Louisiana doesn't really have a unique combat unit (other than the attracted one), do you think that's too powerful?
Sorry @KlHannibal2 , I didn't accept your proposal but I hesitated for a long time. I'm not sure the AI would use replacement by purchase.Would it be possible to allow them to be re-bought, up to the total number you generated? Then you could use them more liberally.
Hi, thanks to try this civ and for your return.Just finished a game with Louisiana and it was a blast! I just had some issues along the way...
Never had this problem and I just finished a game yesterday. It's strange. Are you sure it's really 3 GW of Music from Louisiana that you have?1)The Vieux Carré's theming bonus doesn't seem to be working properly.
Normally, Louisiana begins by the sea but actually, I did not foresee that the capital could be inland. Thanks for the feedback, I will correct it.2)I kept getting naval UUs spawning on my capital every 20 turns, despite my capital not being on the coast. Slightly annoying as it ended being a wasted unit.
I noticed a bug on the tourism bonuses provided by the use of Krewe. The bonus on buildings must disappear after 15 turns, this is not the case. I have to correct it because it actually becomes uncontrollable quite quickly.Otherwise, I think the UA produces a little too much gold and I wanted to lower it slightly.3)The civ is too good XD, all the different bonuses and UAs can snowball really quickly.
