Brave New World OST - Leaders

The summer and winter portions of Vivaldi's four seasons could potentially become the most epic war-theme ever

Indeed! And I'm pretty sure they'll have Vivaldi, who else could it be?

Although I think the Winter one is, definitely, the best war theme imaginable for Venice. It's certainly the most "violent" of all symphonies. No matter how often it is used everywhere, the crescendo at 0:30 is amazing.

Wow... Now I'll be soooo disappointed if that isn't their War theme!...
:please:

And yes, it will most probably be Vivaldi. From their Behind the scenes video, Geoff Knorr says this:
Geoff Knorr said:
Usually our first step is just searching for something, finding an actual melody from the culture that we're doing the leader music for, and hoping that that melody is famous enough in that culture that if someone from that country heard it, they would instantly think "Oh, yeah, this is my country!", and there'll be that sense of national pride...
I find it hard to believe that they would NOT go for Vivaldi...

Me too.

But I'm pretty sure it will be either that or one of the other Four Seasons' movements.

In fact, Venice and Brazil are the easiest guesses OST-wise. I'm dead sure Villa-Lobos will be in with Choros nº1 and Vivaldi will be in with some movement of the Four Seasons.

As I've said before, Choros n1, for Brazil, sounds great and I can really imagine both a peace and war theme made out of this (with some parts cut for the latter)

(I'm really sure about Brazil because Villas-Lobo isn't a well known composer - popular culture wise - and yet he was listed as a great artist in BNW. So Firaxis is aware of his existence - and there's only one way they're aware of it: because they were researching Brazil's erudite musical history)

Although "Rasga o Coração" is a terrific war-theme like composition.

(and it's sung in Portuguese [it my sound like Latin but it's Portuguese] - I can hardly imagine something better for Brazil but that)

I counter that: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g65oWFMSoK0, jump to about 3.15 (or just listen to the entire thing, it's Vivaldi, after all).

But I would not mind Winter at all, both of them are awesomely awesome!
