Well, I was going to make him... but now I don't need to... excellent job asio.

Thx :)

OK i added one more screenshot - made with flying camera zoom - as you can see it can be fixed in few places, but two (almost three) afternoons for unit is much enough :) The biggest problems i head with arms :/ still there are to big imo (worker in civ wich was base for a unit has big muscles)

It's a good job Asio... and better-yet, it saved me two or three days of work! He was on my "next to do" list... I was already getting everything put together to make him... beret and all!

Now nobody will be tempted to make the "Churchill" Great General for England! ;) :p

Asio... I just noticed a texture/toning discrepancy... the hands of Monty (taken from the ModernWorker.DDS) seem to be "Eurasian" skin-tone, while his face is clearly caucausian. You might want to match the hand skin-tone with the face...

I didn't notice it as much in the pictures above, but somehow it stuck out at me when I checked it in-game!

Once again, great job!

Wolfie -- Churchill? Wasn't a general.
Exactly my point... (Hitler *cough* General)

But yes... a Patton General with helmet would be nice (and ivory-handled revolvers).

:run: I can't stand waiting I can't stand waiting :run: :D
Well, nobody said they were actually making one...

Oh, and here's his actual chest ribbons just for giggles...

Now all we need is a M3 Grant.. unless I missed it. :p

Very nice work! It looks EXACTLY like me.

Yeah, I always heard that the US gave out medals for anything, like cleaning your rifle good, made our chaps a spot jealous I think...

Russians were even more medal-happy, and quicker about it too. The average waiting time between recommendation for a medal and receiving it was about three days.

Perhaps so, but Patton's were well-deserved, I imagine. Patton could roll right over Montgomery any day of the week. :D

@ all Thx :)

Yeah Patton is good choice :) I have it in plans someday :)
Tough i understan why choose Hitler or Churchill - the game introduce "Warlords" - they doesn't need to be generals

Roll yes, he had more tanks, (If Monty did not treat them the same as he did the Afrika Corpse) but it was Monty who knew how to do a stellar, set piece attack. :D
Do remember, Viscount Montgomery had been forming his strategies for many years, and also showed tremendous leadership in Palestine and on the Continent before Dunkirk, his Division was in the tip top shape, and one of only the two Divisions (The other being under Sir Alan Brooke if I remember correctly) that kept the whole thing from being much worse. And this was before Alam el Halfa and El Alamein.

By the way, Mr Patton would have called the Arthur Wellesley cautious no doubt..

Ah yes... Monty... aka: "I shall move no army before it's time"... the guy was great at winning battles... so long as he had six months to build-up overwhelming odds while he sat on his duff and collected materials, troops, supplies, equipment and could well-outnumber his opponent... then double-check all his maps, make sure his uniform is in order, order some tea... take a tea break, then start contemplating if his plans are in order... double-check to make sure he dotted all his "i"s and crossed all his "t"s, then maybe... just maybe... he may order the attack. Which should win... if he properly prepared.

Patton just attacked with whatever he had as quickly as he could.
