[BTS 3.19] Earth 35 Civilizations MOD

chad's right could you change the names to english and also make them full names instead of abbreviations.
 
Thnx, I found winrar right after I posted that, but there is some thing with the leaderheads on mine too. Where do I update to version 3.13?
 
Is there anyway you can make so the names aren't in italion. Also can you make it so the AI doesent have random personality.

Simply open the map file earth34 civs with notepad...

Then Change the tag Leadername=Italian Name with Leadername=Name you want ;)

NOTE that you can change all the italian words to your language!!! Just translate and overwrite the words with notepad and then SAVE and exit...

For Random Personality: Just UNCHECK the random personality during the game settings before starting a new game!!!! :lol: :lol: :lol:

For change Leader Names, Civilization Names, just read up here... (Can also change Leaders in the map just change LEADER_NameOfTheLeader with another one)

For the 3 letters leadername i suggest you to download again the map, that now has long leadernames .... :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

I'M also planning to add AUSTRALIAN and ABORIGENS civilizations in the map (Moving Hammurabi from Australia in Iraq) for better gameplay expirience!!! This mod will be soon uploaded!!!
 
But its alot of work to open that file with notepad and enter the names we want, and its not like I remember everyone either. Is there no file I can open and copy all the english leader names and paste them into your earth34.civs file ?

Looks like a great scenario but its just not playable with the italian names :)

Great map! I was very perplexed by a few features though. I did not see any of the continental wonders available (Hanging Gardens and Notre Dame are examples). If they have been eliminated, perhaps the civilopedia and tech tree should be edited to reflect the changes. I haven't yet gotten to the modern era, but I'm assuming Hoover Dam is gone also.

I was also very surprised to see that the Dutch and Portuguese were not in their normal start locations. I got messages saying they had been eliminated before I visited the New World, and I had already mapped the old world, so I'm guessing they had start locations over there. That was confusing. The Celts starting out in central Asia was less confusing--if we call ourselves Caucasians, then supposedly out ancestors came from the Caucasus region of Russia....right?

Anyway, great mod and map. I really liked the way Europe worked, and the new resources were fabulous. I also liked allowing civs to choose which religion they founded--it got Christianity put in Europe (France researched it), but a New World civ founded Buddhism, which was a little wacko. But Taoism was founded in Asia, Judaism in the Middle East, so there was some reason to it. Did you code civs to have a favored religion?

I was also pleasantly surprised to find the Pyramids in Thebes. Is that just luck, or did you plan it that way?

Is like if Portugal is BRAZIL civilization...
Dutch instead is like SURINAME colony. The actual dutch colony in South America...

The same for SUMERIAN in middle Africa and CELTS in middle East... Just for a GAMEPLAY BALANCED...

For the religion I put the "RANDOM RELIGION" options checked in the starting options... All you saw is just the AI!!!!! ;)

Will it work if im in the middle of a game?
 
It's a great map and I enjoyed it, but the Next War technology and units aren't in it. Did you take them out? I've put the file earth 36 Civs in different places - I've tried it from My documents/ Games and My computer/ programs/ Firaxis/ BTS/ one in Mods and one in Maps. Still no Next War tech. Did you take it out? (I've tried other Next War games, and they have all the tech/ units.)

Also, how can I include the MAD Nukes mod in your 36 civs game, if possible?
 
I took off the next war tecnology cause the max UPLOAD SIZE is 10 MB...

If i put that mod in my mod I OVERSIZE and I can't Upload the 36 civ + resource version!!!

That's the PROBELM!!! :mad:

BUT you can easily add other mods to mine: Just check the NEXT WAR mod files that need to be merge in my mod...

g.bromios could you post a version with random start locations? I don't know how to do... At least, you can DOWNLOAD my map and check HOW TO DO for Random Starting Position...

Nevermind, it did. I just have the regular resources now, but more units and buildings. Great mod - I like the way the world is balanced and that a Civ world map game finally has Australia on it!

Thanx a lot. I think that CAUSE the Inquisitor mod, some Phyton Files from NEXT WAR can't be merged... I did what you need on my FIRST VERSION of this mod. Maybe you can dowload that mod

Then you can change the map with This one for 36 civs...

Don't forgot to add the MODULES folder in this mod if you do this... :lol:
And remember that you will not have INQUISITOR on it...

Yeah, I don't have Inquisitor or the Australian unique unit, but I probably wouldn't use it that often and I always play as England anyway, so I prefer the Next War units :lol: .

I have a question about colonies. Whenever I make one, it's America; if I destroy Boudica, could I then have a Celtic colony, or will it still be America? I want a colony on Ireland this game, you see.
