Hello, Ripple. Your mod is awesome!

I am trying to merge some features on SDK, but it seems some file is missed. Where can I get the complete SDK files you used to compile the CvGameCoreDLL.DLL archive?

Hello all,

Somehow, I don't seem to have a copy of CivFusion 0.72 on my machine. Could someone reupload it and send me a link? I don't know how this happened, I always keep a copy on my own machine but some reason can't find it.

Also, I've been working on the next version of CivFusion, and it will be a big change from the previous versions. I am going back to square one and essentially rebuilding the mod from scratch, removing a lot of unnecessary ideas and really focusing on keeping things balanced and not so radically different from Civ4. I hope to have some preview screenshots up soon and maybe a beta download up after that. Stay tuned...

That's great; I think the easiest thing to do would be go to AtomicGamer or FileFront and upload the mod there. When it is uploaded, they will give you a http link to the file. PM me witht that link and I will update the original post.

anyone else have a problem with the upgrade path from the siamese battle elephant
to knights?
 
Hey, has anyone had problems with MAFs in this mod? Just wondering, don't want to enjoy a game ,and then get bogged down in MAFs. :(

Navigation to make the Moai Statues? OW! They were built before all modern abilities to build them were made. Seriously, they predate the journey of Magellen by 2000 years at least!
and why does a 50% chance to make an unique unit not work?

And you make it obsolete?!!? Gah! Bad! Very bad. Gah. Naval Tactics better give me something that's far worth the price I have to pay.

Aggh! Now everything obsoletes! Seriously, I cant' find anything that actually lasts for more than 300 years or so...

What? The golden Age increase obsoletes? Come on, now you're being silly! And instead of something like Cold Fusion, you make it something silly like Alchemy?! Gah. Is there anything that doesn't suddenly become useless?

Another bug, Library Unique Buildings don't work for the University. :( At least the Ho Fei or whatever it's called for the Siamese.

Hey, looks like a good mod, runs fine until I try to actually play it. I can load the mod, select single player, choose my map type, civ, leader, difficulty etc. (I normally play a custom game), then I press "Launch", it starts to load and crashes to desktop. Anyone else having this problem?

Unless this mod changed the upgrade path, Elephants upgrade to Cuirassiers.
 
First off, let me apologize to all previous posters who I have not answered. I have not been good about monitoring this post and I regret that. However, work on this mod is still progressing, albeit slowly. I have rebuilt the entire mod from scratch and will be releasing it in an orderly manner. I am taking the viewpoint that keeping the game balanced and fun is of the utmost priority. So, I will be releasing the changes to this mod in stages. Stage 1 is version 0.75, which will see a release candidate delivered for download within a week, barring any unforseen delays. CivFusion 0.75 RC1 will include changes to the trait system and added leaders/civs ONLY! The remainder of the game will be unchanged from the current release of RevolutionDCM, which CivFusion is built on top of. You can see more details about 0.75 RC1 in the first post. I will be very interested in hearing about peoples experiences with the new traits. After receiving feedback and accordant tweaks and any bug reports, a final version of 0.75 will be released.

0.76 will be identical in content to 0.75 but will add some new non-gameplay altering essential mods (Culturally Linked Starts, GreatPerson Mod, Mastery Victory, etc.) 0.80 will include a modified tech tree and new units and buildings. Future releases will add modified civics, religions, corps, etc, keeping balance in mind as things come together. Much of this work has already been done, so future releases should come at a faster clip than in the past.

Are less things going to be obsoleted, because seriously, some things shouldn't be obsoleted. Especially the useful Moai Statues and the Great Wall. Fix it. :)
 
Yes, I can say that less things will be obsoleted, and also the tech tree envisioned for 0.80 is much closer to the original BtS tech tree. It should be much easier for new players to step in and not have to learn a whole new techtree, just a slightly modified one.
