Here are a few other notes and topics of discussion that I think are important;
1) There are some things being planned for this coming weekend, so some of the things I am going to work on, well specifically finishing the Polynesian LHs and Module Pack III are going to be slightly pushed back because the plans require some coordination. If you have been following a number of threads around the Creation and Customization forum you will PROBABLY be able to figure out what I am talking about, if you haven't you'll be pleasantly surprised. Either way, get your Ouzo ready...
2) I am a bit concerned that, with the 3.19 patch being used for the next mod, there are going to be things I planned on doing that will have to be nixed. As an example the plan to use the Dynamic Civ Names modcomp (which I don't think is even updated to 3.17 yet) will probably not be included. There are a bunch of other modcomps that will probably also fall by the wayside because of 3.19, so we'll have to see what happens with that.
3) I just wanted to say this again and make sure this is clear to everyone, because I know you guys have waited a long time and have been a great help to me as I have been working on all of these modules; I can not guarantee the speed at which the first mod and then the deluxe edition is finished. Partially because 3.19 is going to throw me some curveballs (as stated previously), partially because a lot of the art I am going to use has to be waited on, and also because I am doing this entirely from scratch and not combining a bunch of modules (as I did with Diplomacy).
4) I can tell you that the VERY FIRST thing that will be done to the new mod, and perhaps the most time consuming part, is going to be the future era. What I intend on doing is taking the NextWar mod and using that as a base. Then from there learning how to add the new future techs, features, bonuses, promotions, units, art, etc. This is going to take a lot of time, and the planning for it (as far as deciding what techs go where and what techs allow for what units or buildings) is probably going to take a lot of time. I am not really knowlegable about Science Fiction (which I think would be helpful for this part), so I am probably going to need a lot of help as far as planning out what techs to add and what they will grant the player. I also want to make sure the AI knows how to use them properly, so this may take a while.
5) A lot of this has been relatively negative, but on a positive note we have a lot of great Diplotext finished and in the process of being finished by both Madman and Igor. We have fantastic options for flags and colors thanks to Madman, and I am excited to see what TAdF comes up with for the personalities. Also the Deluxe edition shouldn't take very long to create since, for the most part, all of the modules are already finished and plugging them in will be quite easy.
