BTS Foreign Advisor Screen Question

Under Foreign Advisor, in the "Glance" chart, there's a + or - thing in the upper left-hand corner. What does it do? Also, when you click on the various leader symbols, they change position in the chart, but I can't figure out why they move to where they move. There must be a proceedure here for moving the columns and rows around, but I can't make any sense out of it. How does one re-arrange this chart coherently to suit one's needs? Thanks for any help on this subject. (In general, I find the Foreign Advisor charts to be much improved and more useful than before).

The + or - is the sorting order (ascending or descending) and when you click on a leader it will sort the other leaders according to the diplomatic relations between them (in either ascending or descending order as mentioned above).

Thank you, Zergl. I was hoping that there is a way to re-arrange the leaders according to their locations (i.e., if they are geographically close, you could put them next to each other on the chart, but I guess that's not possible. It would be useful, in my opinion).

It indicates relationships status - pleased, friendly, annoyed, etc. If I recall correctly, it's green for friendly, cyan for pleased, white for cautious, magenta for annoyed and red for furious. You can't tell this just from the numbers, because those don't take various hidden modifiers into account. In my current game, one AI is pleased towards another with a visible relationship of -1, and another is annoyed with one with a visible relationship of +1.

hey, don't mean to dredge up an old post but i've been scouring over the forums to try to find some sort of hidden modifiers information between certain AI's.

For example:

sumerians have +6 relationship with carthaginians (sp) --- friendly level
sumerians have +7 relationship with me, but only pleased

all the + are the same for both, except i have a +1 for trade relations

any info would be great
