BTS: Memory allocation crash, this just started

I used to have no problem with memory allocation crashes, but this started after I began playing with the Bug mod. I unistalled bug, even uninstalled and reinstalled the whole complete edition off of steam, but I'm still getting MA crashes every 20 turns or so.

32 bit OS, Vista
3 GB RAM
AMD Athlon Duel Core 2.3 GHZ
