BUFFY-The Assets are different from a standard install

I tried installing the BUFFY mod and whenever I open up BTS, I get this error. I used Assets Checker and get no errors for BTS either although I do get quite a few for Warlords. Any idea how to fix?

Do you have the BULL Mod installed? Then you must re-change the gamecore.dll to the original.

I don't have BULL. I just did a fresh install for Civ and tried installing BUFFY straight away.

The Warlords errors should not affect BTS. The lack of vanilla or BTS errors is puzzling in light of the error you report. Patches and the core DLL being wrong would cause errors.

Did you start a new game? Only a new game or one created with clean assets will work.

Yeah, it was a new game. I went to Custom Game and lock modified assets was also ticked

I did a regenerate map once using the mod and I got the start below. Could this be a link of some sort? I wouldn't know.

Do not sip. 1 E of the shoal. That should bring 1 for all land tiles once lighthouse is built.

I suggest you to do a complete uninstall. DO NOT use ingame uninstaller, use and download the freeware RevoUninstaller and uninstall all the civ components from that program. It will clean the HD and registry for every trace civ will otherwise leave on you HD.
After that install the game, make sure to apply latest vanilla patch before upgrading to warlord and latest warlord patch before installing BTS. Apply latest BTS patch and then install BUFFY. Forget other mods, at least for now, and tell me if it works.

Make sure you always run all executables with the "run as administrator" option. Very important on Vista/7 machines.
