Bug Reports and Technical Issues

the krak of chevaliers seems to malfunction, here I got some units killed by the mongols while defending baghdad and they respawned one tile south west. The save is before the mongol attack on baghdad, it should allow to reproduce the bug and see what doesn't work.
Similar question for this save. Sorry if I am missing a breaking change to check, but could you let me know your mod version (from the game info screen)?

Sorry, but there's not much I can do about the crash. It is caused by a corrupt game state and I cannot tell what caused it.
 
It looks like Persia has been removed as an Expansion Area for both Arabs and Turks (600AD) . Was it intended to make this a Turkic area? If so I think that's the right move.
It has been removed for the Arabs to focus their expansion on North Africa, which is more important for them to target. There has been no change for the Turks because expansion area only gets triggered on spawn. It exists for them when they spawn at 550 AD in the 3000 BC scenario but not in the 600 AD scenario.

I got the latest version of 1.18 using github pull, but starting the mod says it fails to load the mod.

Did you have local changes before pulling from git? Is there a conflict?
 
Here's a weird one: My units first need to move onto another adjacent tile, before being able to move onto the adjacent Oasis tile that I want to move to.

And another weird one: My poor worker and his military escort keeps getting kicked off of this Iron tile (which I own) next to Rano, repeatedly, when I end the turn. "3 of our units have been expelled from Independent territory and withdrawn to Rano".

No, I didn't modify anything. Then I reacquired it several times and it still didn't work.
Does it work when reverting to the commit you were on before?

I can say something more definitive after I have looked at the save, but iirc Oasis adds an additional movement cost to its tile. All your units have Desert Adaptation, so they can move into the Ivory tile with movement still left over and then utilize the road connection, leaving them with more movement left than if they entered the Oasis directly. However that doesn't explain the three turn movement prediction.
