I don't know if it is a bug or not, but Scouts don't gain XP from revealing tiles at ~47 XP (3 lvl). Some1 wrote that it's the 'BARBARIAN_MAX_XP_VALUE', but I raised it to 210 and still, my Scouts stopped to gain XP from revealing FoW.

Is it a bug or can I increase it somehow? I need this limit to be at min 5 lvl, because I use JFD Exploration Continued Expanded and want my Scouts to upgrade to Great Scouts. I reported it to him, but he told that it works for him. Well, for me and several other people it's capping at ~47 XP :(

Scouts have their own XP value define. It's in the CP's coredefines file.

I literally can't build a farm on wheat. I don't understand why. It doesn't provide any button to build farm. Wheat is located near the sea and my capital. Is there something behind it or it's a simple bug? Using version 1.3.0.
 
I don't know if it's just quirk in the UI not being refreshed, but the following scenerio happened to me :

New turn. I see that I'm +7 happiness on top of the screen. I have to chose a policy click on the notification and chose National Treasure. This policy has nothing to do whatsoever with happiness, it can just give me a boost in under-cultured city.
Right after clicking on it, my happiness goes to +1 ...

This is really, really frustrating, as I don't know why this changed. I suspect a UI refresh issue.

Probably a change in specialists or tile-working.

Council of Elders (Science research for each city that adopts your religion) doesn't work with Spain's UA. Didn't get the bonus a turn later which is when adoption happens.

Apostolic Tradition does work though, Tithe too.
 
I don't know if this have been brought up, or if it is even a bug or just a change that I missed somehow. Anyways traderoutes passing over Towns (and possibly villages as well, I don't remember if I confirmed it in my last game) don't increase the yields of the town anymore.

EDIT: Turns out they do get the yields, but only if there is also a road present, was that always the case? If so you can disregard this.
EDIT2: Just to be clear you get twice the yields if a road and a trade-route passes through a town/village, but if a trade-route alone travels through it you get nothing. Again, I don't know if this is intentional or not, the description of the Village could kinda be made to sound like either of those but I think I remember trade-routes buffing villages before.
 
Hello all.
Dont know if it really is a bug.
Im trying to play your mod in french civ.
I did the manipulation from language_en_US to language_de_FR, but i still dont get any modification to policies and techs in game. Only the vanilla french version.

Dont know if i missed something or if you have any proposition so i could play your fantastic looking mod ?:D

PS i already reinstalled whole civ, redid the manipulation twice, still nothing... and steam doesnt allow me to install the game in english (i dont get to choose my languagefor installation)

Found my solution : i m just stupid. just had to change to language_fr_FR. was too dumb to understand it quickly....

Here is the database file requested for the bugs I've been experienced. If anyone has any thoughts on how to get Great Prophets to spawn properly and fix the problem I have not being able to improve any new luxuries it would be greatly appreciated.

Only Mods used are 1-6a from the Community project - downloaded each time with the installer and always clear the cache.

Thanks! Please let me know if I did anything wrong this is the first time I've enabled logging and sent in a database.log file.

First glance - looks like you are missing DLC and/or your game is not updated. You've got hundreds of errors here.

Make sure you are up to date and have all DLC.

Only mods: Community Patch 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 prefixed.
Game: Continents, small.
OS: Windows 10.

Cities, both mine and not mine, lose their city banner and become un-selectable even from the Cities list. This continues even if I save and reboot my computer. Over many turns they slowly come back--my best guess, only a guess, is they come back when they grow.

Sample save attached. Let me know if you need any more info.

BTW, awesome set of mods, they're giving a whole second life to Civ 5.

I have been experiencing this (though not noticing it in cities other than my own) as well as the icon showing what each city is working on "sticks." So even though Washington finished the Oracle many turns ago, it still shows me working on it with 2 turns left, for example. It starts off fine....happens later on in the game for both issues.
 
You can choose the 'no EUI' option in the installer.

I have EUI installed and in the MODS menu I am not allowed to click on the part of the CPP with EUI. It says I don't have something that is required to run that mod. Should I re-install? I used the auto-install, which was quite nice, thanks.

Apparently I'm missing the Scrambled Continents Map Pack and Nations Map Pack. Bummer I thought I had all the DLC.

I don't think those should matter, he is talking about all leader DLC. I might be wrong however.

I have all the other DLCs, expansions and my version is up-to-date so I'm not sure what else would cause it. I verified the integrity in steam and it found 2 errors that were fixed, maybe that will help.
 
Cannot create Vassalage to bigger empires.

So Persia was second in place in a game where I am first in the scoreboards. I have captured/liberated his empire until his last city where I offered him at 100 war score. I have the max 32bit digit number as my maximum possible value and he won't give me anything to stop the war. (Either just gold or vassalage only).http://imgur.com/5lHMktY

I've vassalaged America in this game as well so I'm quite sure its a bug.

I've vassalaged America in this game as well so I'm quite sure its a bug.

Since the max value is a MAX_INT, it means that technically he's not willing to make peace at all. It may change next turn, or he may just refuse to make peace until you kill him. That can happen if the AI thinks you have too many vassals.

Somehow a city with an Archer has more crime than one without any garrison, and a warrior does literally nothing to affect it. What. Now that I take a closer look at it, having an Archer in a city actually lowers its defensive rating, from 16 to 15.
