Bug Reports

Just started my first game with this very promising looking mod. I'm playing as the English and Inverness flips to me within a few turns, though I don't get any message about it. I don't remember barbarian cities flipping this easily in the standard game, and it certainly isn't historically accurate, so is this a bug?

Oh yes, and I have a catapult in Antarctica for no apparent reason. But I'm guessing that might be necessary?

I absolutely love this mod, but I've had a game-crash problem. I'm playing as the Romans. It's in the 1700s and I've conquered most of the Mediterranean. I just wrapped up a very productive war with the Arabs, but when I go to the next turn, the game screen goes black and then it crashes. This happens every time I try it. Any ideas?

(I tried to attach the save, but it's 630 KB, and compressing it didn't get it under 500K...)

ver 1.38

I started play as egypt - switched to spain (i think first historical mission was falsely positive - no city in america, but was given credit).

around year 2017ad got python exception error
attribute error
victory instance has no attribute on project
(lines 23, 107,118,259)

Boris, use the easy upload in the quick links menu, which is between Search and Log Out. ;)

Craterus22 -> thank you, I fixed both.

Boris Godunov -> try to upload the save somewhere, otherwise I can't help

Thanks for quick reply - on my second game... only 3 of the 12 visable civs (started america - took less than 30 minutes to start) have completed their fist historical goal (and spain's HG number 1 was an error so it is probably only 2/12).

Not sure if that is an error or bug, but maybe not intended? It seems like the 1st historical goal should be the easiest for AI civs to complete (when it is not directly competing with another civs goal).

AI can't be competitive in the historical goals race.
I tried to shape the goals in a way that AI would possibly achieve them without directly aiming at them, but usually this doesn't happen

Thanks - here is some 1902ad info for america HG's

no europeons in america = not yet (no europeons in north america at 1902ad)
not sure if this includes south america - if it does - it should say NO or YES at this point, yes?

must build SoL, Pent, UN by 2000ad = NO (year is 1902ad)
I have built SoL... i suspect it should say not yet

control 4 other civs = notyet
not even sure what control means but at least it has correct status.

ps - also there are two settling parties from india and greece in northeastern canada (square is head of two rivers) they have been there well over 10 years - just standing there

Another question--what year does Russia start, and why so late? I'm in the 1730s, and still no Russia. I thought they would start in the 15th century when Ivan the Great ousted the Mongols, or in 1547, with the ascension of Ivan IV as the first "Tsar of Russia."

EDIT--glancing over the thread, I see indications that others had Russia starting far earlier. That's odd, since I don't think Russia has started at all in the save I posted. I could be wrong, though.
