bugs in original version still in latest patch

some of the bugs r even worse. when i talked to egypt's leader via diplom (hatsheput sp?) in 1.0 she looked fine. after i installed the latest patch on a fresh install of civ 4, her colours on the sides and on her cheeks look kind of inverted. also, sometimes when i do a battle, i dont see the units fight (during city sieges). it just says your x unit destroyed a y unit in the upper left corner of the screen. then i see my unit fly back to its position on the map.

Some of the bugs of my game got solved with the 1.52 patch(well, kinda semi-solved).

I used too have the problem that the game would lock-up and all cities, units, resources and such would dissappear. It still happens but after a while they all come back. It happens very frequent though.

My game slows down and frequently locked up while going over enemy territiory as well but with the new patch it only slows down.

Because of this i've started playing the game again, and only had 2 totally crashes of the Game. 1 of which caused my video card too shut down.

Check your options to see if you have animations turned off. I'm pretty sure that's what your problem is.

when i do regular battles, the animation is fine. thats y im thinking its a bug

I have a somewhat similar problem. Most of my bugs were fixed with v1.52, but now in diplomacy, I get the eyes and teeth appearing for a second or so before the rest of the figure gets displayed. Happens with all leaders.

I get that too. Plus some of the leader's eyes have a great deal of white in them.
