thing, it's destroyed two of my cities in a Greek game I've been playing -- one of them has been destroyed twice. If I don't keep rebuilding, my overanxious neighbours start to run escorted settlers through my territory -- I get a lot of slaves, yeah, but it's not doing well for diplomatic relations.

It has no animation of exploding, only smoking when it is active, and stuff flying out the turn after it exploded.

speaking of volcanos, in a recent game on a random map the AI still built Pompei next to a volcano, just like real life
