Bush ditches steel tarrifs

This is a very good thing!

I wonder when the agricultural tariffs will go, though(both the american and the european one. In fact the european is significantly higher)

I wonder, would any other President get away with saying totally illogical things like Bush does?
 
Farmers in Canada would also be cheering along with their Brazilian/African counterparts if American/European farm subsidies were dropped.

Those are unlike steel though in that wind and rain and sun conspire to give unfair advantage to certain countries. Of course Albertans must subsidise their guava and coconut industries just to level the playing field. So it goes with softwood lumber.
 
another case where Mr Bush needs a court to tell him that what he was told is illegal - is illegal. Surprise surprise!
