Here's the game.
Anyone played this? As a game, of course, it sucks. What I'm more interested in whether or not the statistics mentioned in the game are correct- if they are, then Bush is the start of a new Depression. I mean, turning 5 trillion surplus to 5 trillion under- could anyone REALLY be that bad? And what about the tax breaks- 50% going to the top 1% by 2010? Does anyone have any statistics for this? Or is it all a huge pile of crap. Anyone know?

it is true.

I just read Clinton's biography and was a bit doubtful about some of the facts he gave on economics. So I checked into the issue. And Billy was right. And I found the same numbers for Bush as given in the game.

It is all true. Now Vote John Kerry.

Not only vote for Kerry, but also get sure that in 4 year, you dont bring back this republican nightmare. Clinton did lots of good thing, but within 1-2 year Bush destroy it all, it is much harder to built then destroy, so next time please no more Bush related president.

What is scarry about poeple in general, is they dont care about those number, economic disaster, bad foreighn policy, but they care a lots about a little extra marital sexual adventure. :crazyeye:

what is even more scary is that the people actively WANT to believe proven liars (and I am not talking about personal matters, but about political stuff that concerns every voter!) like Bush & Co!

take the Starr witch hunt: Kenneth Starr went on a withc hunt, repeatedly breaking the law and judges orders and illegally indicting and jailing people just to hurt Clinton. Still, the press and the public found this OK - why?

because the GOP-friends sponsored ad campaigns influenced them.

What about the Clinton health care plan? If asked which of 5 plans they preferred WITHOUT BEING TOLD WHO FAVORS IT, 80% of all people preferred the Clinton plan.
At the same time, if asked if they want the Clinton plan, 80% said 'No!'. becasue there were ads running claiming the plan made it ILLEGAL to buy extra insurance - when in fact it specifically gave you a free choice on the matter!

Basically, people believe ads, and ads are funded by those with money. People do not WANT to doubt what they believe is 'general opinion'. :(

lol

you get your information from video games ???

Friendly Fire: no. but this game happenes to have a nice collection of information about Bush in ONE place. Go check it out, if you doubt it.

perhaps it would be a great idea for average Americans to get their info from video games instead of the prsee - those reporter types have been decidedly off the truth repeatedly in the past. Just check on what they PORTRAYED the Whitewater affair like and how it REALLY was!

Quote from Carlos,

Carlos, yes the trick with crooked politician is they use fear as a mass manipulation tool. Thats how i recognise them now, each time i saw a politician rising a scarecrow, i am sceptic and doubt about them. They did the same in Canada to counter quebec independency and later was found guilty of corruption. By using fear you can manipulate a large portion of uneducated citizen.

I think the public was ok with it because the public LOVES a scandal, not because of GOP ads. The rest I agree with though

This game makes me wonder.

It seems like (generally speaking) liberals are very good at satire and making cute political comics and telling 1,000,000 reasons why everyone but them is illogical, irrational, stupid, and wrong. However, if their way of thinking is so perfect, then why doesn't it win out?

Let me guess, the republican controlled media and the stupidity of the average person? Those answers can only go so far in my opinion...

I know the game is Liberal propaganda- all I care about are the numbers- the incorruptable facts. If the figures in the game are correct, Bush is the worst president America has ever seen.

when it comes to politics, those who are the least informed are usually the ones that are most convinced they are the most informed!

its called pseudo-certainty!

they are so sure of their own moral superiority(and "their sides", whichever side it might be) that they dont bother to check the facts!!

that was a fun game. not so much for the anti-bush propaganda, but because it had mr.t. worth the half hour I spent playing it. too bad I died on the last boss. Stupid Darth Ascroft took up most of my lives, and that hawk's lazers killed robokerry

Like anything you find in media, take it in and try to understand the facts vs the the slant. Some have analysed the numbers, good. What did the game leave out?

Those who wish to dismiss the game as propogandic crap, okay fine, but what are your retorts to the points made in the game?

@MattBrown, if you lose all your charachters, the game lets you get them all back so that you can finish, just click continue.

I remember posting this last year and having it taken down because Voltron humped the Statue of Liberty...

it seems the liberals were very good at fixing the economy - but very bad at propaganda.
