Buy 1 copy of Civ5

Talk about a pointless thread. While I have been contemplating buying no copies, I have absolutely no need for two. And I doubt half a copy is going to do me very much good at all.

count me in.

+1 for you and +1 for me...I'll be buying one copy, most likely the basic edition for $50 hard copy...not a download, and I'll be perfectly happy about it.

im gonna get my deluxe version off that scum bag steam, then im gonna play it tille my face smashes into the m onitor as i finally lose conciousness.

You certainly wont be able to stay up as long as me playing it working boy.

i stop working at the end of the month, so as long as the jobcentre don't look me up in one of thier job search prisons again ill be able to match your playing time bruv!

Damnations! That is both good and bad news, atleast we can play a long 30 hour game together. P.s David, when we download on "D-Day" (Download Day, muhahahahah I'm so clever,) I think I should download it on my PC only, then back up on USB and then you can put it on your PC, it will be quicker this way. Some useful downloading advice for anyone else getting more than one copy on Steam, and no I'm not merely using this topic to have a confosation with someone a few meters away from me, perish the thought!

I also support the idea of 1 game per user, whether you want to buy an additional copy for another user for them so they dont have to, is entirely up to you. I'm sure said person will appreciate the gift.
The idea of not buying this game on priciple is utterly ridiclious, just buy it and moan to yourself about how bad the idea was, it is what I do when I don't like a product I have brought, I certainly dont demand refunds (unless I buy gone off milkshake, but then its just because I swalloed some AND REALLY need two bottles of coke, a packet of chewing gum and and a chocolate bar to get that rancid taste out of my mouth... but I digress), or refuse to buy it because I dont like one little part of it.

i'm buying 1 copy!. A HARD COPY. if i'm paying for software, i want a cd to reinstall it with no possibility of losing product keys etc. i am perfectly happy to have a downloaded version of free stuff, but if i pay for it, I get a HARD COPY. 1 COPY!

Oh JOY, More hysteria! :bounce:

I'm considering buying the SE (the one with the art book) for the 'gratitude to Sid' aspect.
After that however, I MAY (or may not) purchase another version for the overlapping content.

Didn't 'Trip' (Jon S) say he wanted us each to buy FIVE of them? ;) ;)
