C2C Combat Mod Introduction - Step I (SubCombat Classes)

Thanks for the clarification. I have always wondered why this BUG screen was set the way it is. And how it affects the displayed combat odds during game play.

I also have wondered what the difference really is if ACO's system is Unchecked. If it returned all combat display back to vanilla BtS?

Perhaps it used to. At this point, I don't think it does anymore. If I recall it mostly controlled whether you'd see the round by round breakdown of odds on the 2nd page.

If it's been relegated to 2nd page odds break down of combat rounds, then how many players actually know it's there? And how many even know how to see the "2nd page"?

Perhaps ACO should be removed now. I will be turning it Off in BUG from now on.

ACO was made by AND so I didn't ask these questions. The statement that says on the help tooltip to hold down shift and control and so on when looking at odds to see another page seems pretty self explanatory though.

All well and good If the player knows about how to get and how see tool tips. Lots of ifs.

And iirc ACO was brought into AND, but not Made by AND or Afforess.

You realize the tooltip is the help hover panel that shows up when you right click and hold over an enemy unit to see the odds of the potential attack right? You'd have to basically be illiterate or playing your first game to not see it.

The codes did note a thanks to someone else I think.

Where does a New player get this type info so they know is My Point. Really.

Well, on the combat help tooltip hover panel it says to hold down shift, ctrl, and alt for new pages of information. Is that too hidden do you think?

Probably not, especially for the inquisitive. Who will click on any thing to see what happens. But not every player is like that. :badcomp: So...:dunno:. As we have seen over the many years. Do you concur?

i found those screen by reading the tooltips and the type of players interested in the info in those pages are also the ones who would read all tooltips.

I agree, I mean how much easier can it be made? I don't have an idea that could make it any easier but would be open to it. That said, Toffer is probably more equipped to mod in something that works better.
