No offense but how does one know if it is working or not, what is it supposed to do, or act??
 
If by the launcher you mean it displays the new graphics for C2C, yes it is working. Nice job by the way ;)

My folder structure:
C:\Steam Game Storage\SteamApps\common\Sid Meier's Civilization IV Beyond the Sword\Beyond the Sword\Mods\Caveman2Cosmos

I've not edited the Launcher XML.

Edit: Tried to specify my path in XML <path>C:\Steam Game Storage\SteamApps\common</path> and longer versions of it without success, got the same error message.

I am guessing that editing that file and adding the bold line will work.

edit actually I got rid of all the other paths and just had mine in there.
 
My path is 'C:\Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 4' (and the rest) but when I enter this in the launcher.xml the launcher tries to start 'C:\civ4beyondthesword.exe'.

Maybe a problem with blanks in the pathnames?

Because of a weird steam design solution. In steam it is possible to only install Beyond the Sword without installing Civ 4, so steam found it logical to list it twice as I have not really installed civ 4, even though I have a lot of civ 4 files inside "Sid Meier's Civilization IV Beyond the Sword" folder that enable me to run BTS.

In steam there is, at least for me, also a duplicate of civ 4, BTS, Warlords and colonization so i am allowed to install them all twice, and the duplicate installation will have a different folder name inside steamapps\common than the other version of it. This is a steam WTH case.

Yeah, I've got the same thing. Steam is weird.

They include MAC versions as well, that is why there are more then one listing. My path shows only 1 Civ 4 BTS though, I have every thing installed, I play Colonization once in a while. I have it on steam and works perfectly. Though when I click CIV 4 it loads C2C always. ;)

I put my Civ 4 in its own folder though, a lot easier to access. :D
 
The Launcher is now obsolete i found much better solution. I delete it from the svn in the next days.
I'am soory for taking time from you guys testing it.

Changes to the included Xerces-c inside the Sources directory.
 
I tried to commit the parser change a few times in the last hours but i can't get it to go throgh erverytime i get an error so i try it again tomorrow.

That usually means that it might be too long of a commit, and you might have to do half one time and half another time, i have run into that before also, also they do do maintenance late at night (USA Time) of course.

- The Excrement Holes should be replaced by the Restroom Line (Outhouse -> Sanitation Chamber)

- Pest (Pidgeons), the Hawking Hut and Falconer should be replaced by Falconry School

- The Falconry School should allow you to train Raptor Units (Eagle and such)

- Bonus Personal Electronics needs art (uploaded to Resource Thread)
