C2C - UEM - Ultimate-Earth-Map 100% MOD and SVN update compatible by Pit2015

I looked arround to find the audio file for the city screen background sound, cant find it where is it? I want to delete it so i dont get the background sound in the city sceen, i am listening to documentations of the era on youtube as background while gaming.
 
I want the other sound effects, i dont want the city screen sound. Possible to turn that off only? Or maybe a way to edit a xml to a wrong filename to turn it off?

Ok i found the sounds, still in the main game dir. Testing now deleting these sounds.

Ok i did it, works fine, nice and quit and not nerving in citys now. Heres how to do it:

1. Go into the main game dir, not the mod dir.

\Steam\steamapps\common\Sid Meier's Civilization IV Beyond the Sword\Assets\Sounds\Ambient

2. Move all "city" files to another dir, finished and working.

I conquered a city with wonders, 2 wonders are lost one conquered, what will happen now in the mod with the lost wonders? Can they be rebuild later or are they lost forever?
 
Nope the wonders did come back now 1-2 turns later, only marine festival still missing, i think it will come back when the needed ressource is back in city borders or the required building is back... i got alot of messages building is working again. Yep the wonders come back even if they are not displayed anymore in the city screen when all requirements are met again. I still missing a fishermens hut for the marine festival, then it will come back.

Turn 1037! I checked the AI, all AI is doing very good and they dont go bankrupt, they expand nicely. Good job. :thumbsup:

It's probably intentional for this unique unit. I can say for sure that it's not just a display error. The only way it would state that is if the unit was actually given that ability.
 
DAMN! :):crazyeye: I was the world leader in research but in ancient era :nono: some of the AI overtake me and some of them are ahead now, deity is hard now and the AI plays very good actually. Really challenging gameplay now... some wars did cost me alot of time but i secured my terrain at least for now...

Edit BTW: How to find treasure in ruins now? Just placing a scout into ruins and wait?

Rock'n Roll the AI is building citys like hell on deity now :goodjob:, hard for everyone to take his territory asap and hold it. Screenshot... :thumbsup: There still alot room for more citys. :) I count about 30 citys in europe only for now. :goodjob::goodjob::goodjob: Turn times still at 10-40 seconds per turn. :hug:Very good work. Hmm, where will we send our traders soon? :mischief: And yes, damnit who will conquer the world? :crazyeye::lol::crazyeye: I will need later a large invasion army and fleet to get my feet on europe, asia or africa. :crazyeye: 8 carriers + 20 battleships, 100 transports and 800 troops. :goodjob: And bridgehead engineers of course! :lol:

Tell me something about expandig AI :cry:. I started new game after long time 1+ year and i am glad AI is expanding like hell. I love it :love:.

I have few complains about your map, for example:
1. europe is not connected throught land with little asia,
2. summeria starting position is far away from real history, maybe just erase summeria or replace it with another more related civilization

Yep you should get territory as fast as possible now or try to kill an AI asap to get more land available before the others take it. :) Playing russia isnt easy now.

??? Yep bosphorus strait is see as it is real, but you can get early ships to get over the bosphorus strait.

As said for the sceanrio: "40 pre-set Civilizations in the scenario: (Mostly historic starting positions, some shifted a bit for better gameplay)" (To prevent to overgrowed regions with starting civs, also some landmasses are oversized a bit in wurope and some isslands to give the AI a fair start like england)

Also you can use now thief's or units like neanderthal warrior that can attack without declaring war to recon west europe or terrain already taken by the AI.

YES! Techcost where increased a bit with new SVN update now, thats even better now for the game balance. Nice! :goodjob:

BUG/PROBLEM:

ARGH... theres a bug with new SVN update all my untis have 0.01 strength now? Can you fix it?

Yep i do always directly after update. Reverting back to ma last working SVN, let me know when you fixed or if you cant fix that. Wich techcost vaiable was changed and to what value?
 
I reverted to SVN 10156 to get the increased research and build cost into my game, 10156 works, must be a bug in a later update.

EDIT 10156 is showing up as 10154 in game... bug or just forgot to update the version number?

And no i will not restart, learn to dont kill savegames. :thumbsup:


Look screenshot version number its 10154 but i am on 10156 maybe that cause problems later?

Edit 2: Let me know here if you can fix the 0.01 unit strength bug, then i update later again.

No idea why your save bugged out.

You have latest SVN version, if you have upscaled rescaled research cost option.

Version numbers are bit wonky - something assumes DLL is compiled with every SVN revision, but this isn't case here.
