C2C - UEM - Ultimate-Earth-Map 100% MOD and SVN update compatible by Pit2015

And have you noticed that the AI almost always finds you 1st. As if the coding gives you the player's starting position away to all near and far neighbors.
Naw... it's all just God's love of irony. I checked in the code since I had similar suspicions.

So does popping Goody huts. And Every Civ has goodie huts around them. It's all dependent upon how fast and effectively you scout/explore your surrounding area and too pop those huts and islands.
True, but we're talking about natural wonders you wouldn't even need to send out units to find I think.

This is easily solvable.
Just play-test each civ and check what FREE MONEY it gets by sending units, say, in a 3 squares radius around the starting location.
Then even the difference for those civs that DON'T.
Alternatively, though kinda stupid: just give everyone a start-up of 10.000, loool - then it won't matter either.

It is a Scenario so if Pit wants to give each Empire 10,000 Gold that really is his pejorative. But I still like to push him when I can. :)

Hey Swamp Fox, it is 500 starting gold, so it will not last long.;) 500 is enouth to make a fair research start for every civ. If the go get tribal huts they get a +bonus. So tribal huts can make the game changer but you need to get em first, its a startig race and a fair run now for all civs.

Damn i dont know that the Film "Patriot" was inspired by the "Swamp Fox" interesting... well was a made-up name for joseph but it has a real history:

German:
https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Francis_Marion "Der Swamp Fox"

Marion gilt als einer der Begründer der modernen Guerillakriegsführung und wird als Mitbegründer der US Rangers angesehen.

English:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Francis_Marion "The Swamp Fox"

Marion is considered one of the founders of modern guerrilla warfare and is considered to be a co-founder of the US Rangers.

Always history arround the corner. Thats why you go time travel with UEM - Ultimate Earth Map.

I've never seen that art yet... a good improvement there.

I know, I was referring to another poster's jab at your 500 but that every empire should get 10,000:gold: to start, :mwaha:.

But you can not see the games exe either. And as such really cannot prove nor disprove that Firaxis' design is to allow the AI to know your starting spot immediately. Only Sid knows for sure. ;)

The exe isn't really called on for any decisionmaking by their units so it would be hard to see how it could secretly alter or adjust the entirely traceable flow of their determinations. I was equally shocked to see there isn't actually something in the code that makes unit death when attacking a ton more likely when you're about to level if you succeed in that attack. I would've sworn it was there because it's really predictable that way.

Is it for all units on lvl 4 that they dont get experience by killing animals if you dont select animal hunter promotion? Or will hunters keep getting xp? Any way to see the lvl of a unit where the limit is for that unit?

With the "infinite xp" game option, units will always get xp from barbs and animals.

Without infinite xp option:
- If a unit has 20 or more xp, it won't get more from animals without the animal hunter promotion.
- If a unit has 40 or more xp, it won't get more from barbs without the barbarian hunter promotion.
- Those limits are doubled with the "more xp to level up" game option active.

Ok good to know, same for hunter units now?

STRATEGIC REPORT ON CURRENT GAME + SCREENSHOT:

(Gaming hardcore with no reloads on fails, no cheating, what happens that happens. Sometimes it was on the edge to succeed or fail, nerve tickling):woohoo::shake::eek:

1. Founded Washington D.C.
2. We attacked Mohawk early, our elite forces took the city.
3. After a failure in field tests about a new health plant we faced a revolution, moved out army has to be called back to Mohawk to defeat the rebels. We succeeded, cost us a lot of time and delayed our push forward to Chaokia.
4. Finally our army reached Cahokia, a hard battle started, we nearly lost all our forces. With one unit left Chaokia was taken and secured. North America is secured now... well if Montezuma is not attacking.
5. No units left in the army, we are stopped by Montezuma for now, we have to rebuild our army fast to secure Cahokia and keep our citys secure from the barbarians. All this was done by falling back in research and low population growth, also we have now very hard economy problems, high maintenance costs for the citys and financial trouble + low gold. Was very hard to reach this goal, but got a good base to survive, now our nation is building up the economy slowly.

BUGS/PROBLEMS:

Neanderthal Warrior health bar still not displaying correctly, displays sometimes 100% health but unit is damaged.
Neanderthal Chaser unit gives +2 to general / master hunter red bar generation points, should give +2 or should be +1? Other neanderthal units give +1. (I did not check what normal hunter units give)
Old strategy text in harems building.
National Wonder - Captured Fire is not displaying in pedia that it is obsoleted by tech fire making.

GOOD:

AI is gaming good now, builds good and managing early gold good.
Good you can take +1 pop citys now without destroying the city.

Hmm, 1 pop cities should be auto-razed on conquest unless you play with this game option...
View attachment 541443
Are you using that option?

Yes sure, attack cahokia with the last 2 units left in attatched savegame and try yourself. Maybe that is because he has a great hunter unit in city, that prevented the the racing by conquest? Then i was mega lucky... i will place a city fpr sitting bull in WB and test one sec...

Yes normal 1 pop city is destroyed by conquering it, must be the unused great person that was in cahokia that pervented the razing, he got the great hunter while i was attacking. Or maybe capital town / last town is not razed anymore.

Also i saw one of my spiked clubmans did also added +2 general points. I dont know if there was a change, was before +1 but neanderthal warrior gives +1 as it looks like.

It IS displayed.

Yes right i missed that.

The amount is based on how much XP has been earned. What type is assigned GMP flavor pts to depends on the unit's combat classes. So the amount isn't about what unit it is, just how much experience it gained during the fight.

Interesting. It probably has something to do with the bar still assuming that 100 health is maximum when it needs to be considering the actual maximum of the unit to create the proper fraction displayed. I'm not sure at the moment where that's handled.

This isn't problem with map.
Are you playing on V40?
There were few bugs with graphic paging, that are fixed in SVN.

i run C2C Revision 11091 SVN
however, as I noticed, after restart alll images are fine (for a while). Looks like images for resources and improvements on new explored areas don't load all.
(can't be my system, have i7-9700 with 4,9 MHz + Geforce RTX 8060 8GB + SSD)
