C2C - UEM - Ultimate-Earth-Map 100% MOD and SVN update compatible by Pit2015

Will unparking my cores really help if Civ4 only uses 1 core? The other cores won't help regardless of if they're parked or not?

Should use the other cores if the first core is fully outpowered. Just try it. Also i have a SSD, should be standard now for a game'ing computer. Help's alot.

DAMN i updated now again, game still working, good job. Continuing my game for months now.

If SSDs are now standard would you buy me one? I'm retired on a fixed income and can't afford the luxury. If you would be so kind and generous as to buy me one I'll give you my address in a PM to ship it to. My :bday: is coming up next month and I will be 66.

Thanks. :please::drool:

:) Buy a small one, 120 GB SSD maybe, they are cheap now but get a good samsung or scandisk or WD, you can use your old harddrive as second drive and put windows on the SSD and the games that you want to run fast. ;) Put the other stuff to your old drive, girl videos and all the stuff thta dont need to mutch power... 120Gb SSD Scandisk in germany is about 50 Euros now.

50 euros is about what $100 US? That's almost 10% of my monthly income. Not cheap for me. And I have No "girl videos and all that stuff" what so ever. Happily married for 45 yrs now. No need for "stuff" like that. Just a waste of comp HD space anyway. And a source of trouble and moral turpitude.

50 Euros = 62,59 $ currently. No girl videos??? :goodjob: Damn that sucks. But good if you are married 45 years, mostly not the case here anymore. I teach my girlfriends to accept my girl videos.:thumbsup: All other stuff and games you can put it on your second drive the old one. Its really worth to install win 10 on a ssd, i have and own a computer company, i know that. ;) Never ever use a old hdd as boot drive anymore. SSD is 10 to 20 times faster. System boots in 10 seconds, but depends a bit on your computer. 240 GB SSD cost 30 Euros more.

Yep getting out ouf school playing gadafis children, hexenküche and blue max, teacher games lol. Cool times... The first steps... and then later Civ civ Civ and civ...

Gadafis Children - Commando Lybia

Blue Max

Teacher Games - Teach Busters

Blue Max! That was a game that we had on the Atari 800 (yes, the Atari attempt at a desktop computer that used the tv as a screen). We actually programmed it onto a cassette tape from meticulously entering in every character in perfect sequence as it was given to us through a tech magazine we had. It actually played great. And I became a master of that game! One of the best games we had. The commodore version was terrible in comparison - played that a few times at someone else's home. Man... those were the days. (better now tho)

Aye cool, thats in bavaria. You was stationed there with the army to defend in cold war times?
Yes, US Army. Actually both my wife and I served there together. I met and married her while we were in advanced training before we went overseas. In certain fields of expertise they allowed married personal to stay together if possible. We had the same "job", so it was possible.

That's a very quick courtship there! When I went to AIT, the guys and gals were all about hooking up if they could but not... erm... in a serious romantic manner. Wasn't any time for that really.

That game's graphics were amazing for the pixel count it was. My cousin that lived in the same town had that game and whenever I went to visit him for months we were both glued to it.

Yes, Kaiser and Defender of the Crown I played a lot. A full game of Kaiser on the Atari 1040 took about 12 hours. I usually won the game in our group of students as I outlived them (gameplay wise  ). You needed to finish your turns quickly to live long. Overcoming all opponents and becoming the Emperor during a lifetime was nearly impossible as some of us were simply too good in the game. When the game finished with the coronation it usually was time for breakfast...

My absolute favourite on the C64 was 7 Cities of Gold. Anyone remembering this? This was a clear civ-forerunner. You equipped your boats in Spain and then left towards the west to conquer and colonize the New World. You could use a real world map but also create a random one. If you were successful you returned to Spain with a lot of gold and could equip an even larger expeditition. There were hidden treasures as well as friendly and hostile tribes. You could settle inside friendly villages (if you were lucky) and even make a self-sustaining colony out of them (if you did really well). There was no clear end to the game but it didn´t make a lot of fun anymore when the 7 hidden cities and all of the gold were found. Really bad was that you could only save your game when your expedition had returned to Spain and this could easily mean only every 5 hours or so. I was a teenager then and there were heavy discussions with my parents why I could not share meals or family activities at a certain time.

Our AIT was 47 weeks, we were part of the USASA. Met her in early December and we got married ST. Patrick's Day.

Diseases, crime, pollution, education, tourism pseudobuildings are just "normal" buildings, that are autobuilt.
This means their % maluses are mixed with % bonuses from normal buildings.
Also all sorts of % bonuses/maluses are added to each other, and then total % bonus modifies base productivity.
-1% from property pseudobuilding is perfectly countered with 1% from anything else.
