C2C - UEM - Ultimate-Earth-Map 100% MOD and SVN update compatible by Pit2015

I prefer slow gamespeeds too, but faster gamespeeds are harder than slower ones as the human player will have far fewer opportunities to outsmart the AI and to hit their weak spots the way only a human player can.

Faster gamespeed = Fast kills of citys i think = Shorter game = Too easy. Fast techs = You can build fast better units then the AI. But well gamespeed on UEM can be selected as the gamer wants to have it.

There's also the fact that eternity takes literal years to play (see @Yudishtira game's latest update here), so normal or faster gamespeeds at least gives you a chance to complete the tech tree.

Life's short. :hug:

Thats why you game UEM, life is short, lead a real nation and get a real challenge then to waste your time on pussy games where your nation is gone fast. :thumbsup:

Ready for UEM? - Ultimate Earth Map! Letz go. :king::queen::king:

How was this determined? Answer elsewhere I guess. I didn't program this structure for options but AIAndy might be a PM away.

Pit reported serious bug in this thread.
After updating he said that he is getting MAFs, and game needed 2700 MB after loading save.
He was going to earlier SVN revisions to 10233 - one before I added this option, and he wasn't getting MAFs here.

So I reverted changes, and animal infos and spawn infos had their sizes halved back to original values (200 entries for each file).
After reverting this option his savegame RAM usage was at <2000 MB right after loading save.

BUG/PROBLEM:

Ok looks like a larger bug here, pre builded tannery (Builded before i got Apiculture tech) will not getting the +5% from wax resource, new builded tannery will get it, recalculation or reload will not fix it. I traded before for wax but city seattle is not getting +5% if i will build a new tannery requires apiculture to be enabled.

To follow this bug do the following:

1. Load 4Pit BC-2...
2. Go to washington and look screenshot of production added here
3. Then load savegame recalcPit... (I traded for apiculture tech with persia then and recalculated)
4. Then go to city Seattle and look production screen in city tannery will give +6 hammers what is +5% via wax on all hammers in seattle, fine. But no production change on whashington city, its missing the +5% from wax of the already builded tannery. Only way to fix that is to destroy the tannery and rebuild it i think. Or washington is getting +5% and seattle production screen dont shows the +5% before i dont got the apiculture tech. But i think washington is not getting +5% from wax on tannery because it was builded before apiculture tech was acquired.

Interesting. Unfortunately I cant guess as to why. Perhaps you could try DH's suggestion. Strange it would impact a game in progress too.

Sounds like something to look into.

Interesting, removing the prebuilded tannery in washington is doing -6 hammers on full 216 production = full production 210 hammers, rebuilding it displays as it will give +9 hammers, what is 210 + 5% from wax, maybe rounded a bit. So rebuilding it it will give me a total of 219 hammers. Something wrong there can you fix that or my old tannery have no wax bath and have to be destroyed an rebuilded? :)

Edit:
Strange that removing the prebuilded tannery is giving -6 hammers, because tannery gives no + hammers at all when you dont have wax or salt and the techs? Hope thats not a display bug. Maybe thats the problem and tannery just needs +1 hammer as base to work correctly?

I dunno. I'm sure it can be fixed at some point.

Maybe its simply cache issue?
Its here: C:\Users\<USERNAME>\AppData\Local\My Games\Beyond the Sword

I will try to delete the cache. Can you give tannery +2 hammers production with SVN update? Makes sense also. Displays in normal pedia it has +0 hammers, maybe that will fix it?

Hey swamp fox did you woman let you play again? :crazyeye::thumbsup: Time for you to try a long game with UEM on deity + eternity and then talk BS, letz see how long you can survive. Best play polynesian civ, its easy enouth for you. :thumbsup: But try USA i want to see if you can do a large empire as i did... go with my standart settings/options and deity + eternity also keep revolutions on if you take the challenge.

Maybe someday. Just pop in now a days to point out something obvious. And to Kibitz a special BS'er who gets too full of himself from time to time. :lol:

Just getting over a month long illness, shingles. So comp time has been limited. And my desire to Mod C2C is waning. Again maybe some day. I Do get the itch to remove the outdated and dumb Revolution Hints at game start though. Some real bonehead ones in that list, impho of course. Would not want to hurt the feelings of Rev Lovers you know. :p Delicate as they are. :rotfl:

I think everything in Concepts section of pedia needs revision anyway - no one touched it for years :p
Toffers interface overhaul is very useful tool.
When I was revising techs and buildings I was using it constantly.

I'll gave it +2 hammers.
By extension leather factory now has 3 hammers and pepper's synthetic bioreactor has 10 hammers as it replaces some buildings.

Weird, what errors do you get?
I think you need to delete Custom Domestic Advisor or something.

In civ4 ini enable logging.

Tannery +5% with wax by ressource works fine now. But i will delete always the cache now when i load a game, cache wasnt the problem. Trying to install Toffers interface overhaul now. Will report the problem here...

Delete UserSettings folder. Screenshoot your settings before that.

Install font too.

Do you have C2C in:
1. "\CivIV\Beyond the Sword\Mods\Caveman2Cosmos"
2. "\Documents\My Games\Beyond the Sword\MODS\Caveman2Cosmos"

Number 2 will not work.

When the modmod is installed:

Inside the resource folder located in the C2C root folder (\Mods\Caveman2Cosmos\Resource\Theme), do you have a C2C.thm file and another folder called "Theme" which contains 24 .thm files?

Open your CIV4ArtDefines_Misc.xml file and look at the bottom....
Do you have this entry there?
Code:
        <MiscArtInfo>
            <Type>DEFAULT_THEME_NAME</Type>
            <Path>Mods/Caveman2Cosmos/Resource/C2C.thm</Path>
            <fScale>0</fScale>
            <NIF/>
            <KFM/>
        </MiscArtInfo>
If anything is different on your system, do tell me as it may explain the error.
