c3 conquests?

i have bought civ3 conquests off of trymedia/activemark, and it does not install properly. After i try to do the setup, a message comes up that says:

This version is only compatible with Activemark

please help me! i am really eager to play it!

Looks like it only works with the d/l version of Civ3. You'll need that to use the conquests.

ah ok im not too good with the abbreviations.. heh heh

BUT, the thing is, i am trying to install the d/l (hah i get it now!) version of gold edition, once i do that, would the installation of conquests work perhaps?

download the regular vannalia verson, then give it conquests. gold may work, i'm not sure.
