C3C PBEM : "Nimitz" - WWII pacific scenario PBEM (level : newbees)

Sayonara!
March Report from Japan:

China Conflict:

Foochow conquer. All military units execute. We keep the womens to be ours Gheizas.
4 Infantary killed here and there.
1 guerrila lost is head near Naining.

Japs Losts: 1 Infantary.

Usa:

1 dd out near palau;
2 subs near west coast

Commonwealth:

1 sub sunked

Japs lost: 1 Bomb

Boms and Bombardments distributed equally to all allies

The Japs are near the USA coast. Our patrols spotted their ships.

No kills to report this turn.

Having fixed up the communications mishap last turn, the commonwealth airforce and navy once again combines to destroy a crusier and destroyer near the shores of Sibu and Sangkoelirang. No losses were sustained and the Admirals were most pleased.

On the land front, the commander in charge of Signarpore's defenses noticed an apparent opportunity in the enemies hasty retreat to Bhuket and took the offensive to the Japanese, killing an elite Nip Infantry and a combat engineer while capturing a second japanese artillery to the loss of a single ANZAC. The mighty guns of the artillery were then aimed at the right direction and pulverised Bhuket's rail connections.

This would be the second time this strategy was successfully executed and one might wistfully wonder at the mass-harakiris that must be occuring among the japanese generals after this incident.

Our victorious armies attacked and killed an infantry unit near Nanking. We chased an infantry unit out of a bunker near Taiyuan after redlining it, losing and infantry (thus promoting it) and then attacking it again (and re-redlining it). It retreated SE, I think... We attacked more roads and blew apart some more connections to resources north of Hanoi.

We noticed that our American allies had lots of orange gue on their beavers and hope that they are able to clean the beavers soon

Our artillery attacked and damaged some units here and there...

Tokyo Post Jornal Headlights:

Our army still flowing as the wind... we have only one divine purpose the final Victory. Our immortal emperor Showa is pleased with the victory path covered so far. The last news from the front line are:

Duch

We decided to let the oranges have some action too (they were little forgotten lately). So we conquer Manowakari, and in the way we destroy 1 DD and 1 Infantary.
Soon we will have more nice news from the oranges.

China
The inferior Chineses had the nerv to enter in their, i mean, our land!!! They felt the cold of our bullets then! we executed 4 chinese infantary for that. And more will fall.

Usa
In our travel to the nice west usa coast we had time to say hello to a nice USA CA and sunked it after the compliment.
We also found a beautiful CV and sent it to the fishs too.
BTW Green peace needed asap in San Francisco!

Commonwealth
We almost forgot the British this time! But in the very end of the month we decide to get back what was our. So we killed 2 anzacs after a long torture, and recover our artilhary!
After that we paint red another anzac nearbye and distributed some egs to the British.

We report no losses. (at least that I noticed)

Besides all that, was a calm month.

Yama, you sent the wrong file, you sent the save with your turn.

A battleship was lucky to escape our wrath this month after surviving 2 failed bombings. It was able to escape with 2 hit points.

Not so lucky for a sub caught snooping around Rabaul, discovered by our suitably named destoryer DD Scout and pulverised.

The battle for the hills of Bhuket continues with the veteran japanese paratrooper guarding the hill shot down by the triumphant ANZAC and the japanese artillery recaptured once more. Learning our mistake this time, the artillery was wheeled away from the frontline to bombard the enemy within the comforts of a defensive screen. A regular ANZAC was loss in the assault.

The Chinese people wish to report the loss of a valiant airwing of bombers trying to attack a pesky Niponese army. On the good side, we did damage it slightly with artillery.

We lost a concript trying to beat up another Nip infantry near Nanning. (This was not a good month for the Chinese).

Meanwhile, we cut some more rail lines.

Played and sent.

Sunk what I believe was a battleship near Medano but lost a CA near Donggala.

This turn was mostly to re-arrange troops and clean the weapons.
Anyway I had time to:

Duch:
Conquered Menado;
Kill CA and 3 Infantary near;

Commonwealth:
sub near menado

USA:
Japs lost when DD and one bomb.
Well sometimes there are days that we best dont get out of bed.

China:
Kill 3 infantarys

Japs: Lost 1.

Cant remember where... but was somewhere near shaolin temple

dropped some bombs on two japanese destroyers near the USA coast with poor results

Okay, here's what happened.

Yamamoto sent me turn 4 instead of turn 5, I didn't realize that and played it :-)
Sent an email to Yama about that.

So except for that small turn problem, is it going OK ?

And fun ? I am asking especially lietkynes and Gishmibop as they are new to PBEMs.

Lost a Destroyer with 5hp to a Jap destroyer that had 2hp left..
Then attacked the surviving destroyer with a transport and won the battle :-)

A veteran American GI died attacking an elite light tank in China. Bad luck, the japanese tank didn't take any damage.

USA Bombers damaged a jap destroyer near Seattle.

Ok,

I ll answer you! In pbem i am kind of new (I start almost at same time, other 4 pbems, for the first time).
And I am enjooooy it alot! :goodjob:

When I come home, bugged by traffic or something, I just open my e-mail, and kill with torture, some enemies armies or capture one more city, and is kind of terapeutic!
If the contrair happen... is cool too.

Anyway I think this scenarios are great, and I am willing to try others differents (I am in 2º war II europe, Pacific, Rise of Rome, and two more ancient games...)
I think scenarios are much more interesting in pbem.

Thanks to arrange theses games Lou.

I have one doubt to United Nation Council (included Lou Long):

It is allowed in this scenario (or in any) that allies change cities? I realise that Usa has now a city in China territory that once was a chinese city. Now, that seems a little fantasy and not translate reality (it is not possible in real world that one ally just move to an another ally territory city, get his city, and all that in one month... and is not likely to happen either).
Also it certainly will unbalance the game.

Yama

Well...it is a common ploy to have the US take a Chinese city. Sort of simulates their contribution to the Chinese cause...
