C3C PBEM : "Nimitz" - WWII pacific scenario PBEM (level : newbees)

1 CA sunked near Menado, another at Kabaul (how many of them do you have???) while one of my regular CA's lost a hp.

The elite SNLF marine near Kudat was redlined, I do not fancy its chance of survival with the Nearthenland infantry standing right next to it. :mischief:

Its been fun, thanks for organising it Loulong, I'll definitely be playing more PBEMs after this :goodjob:

And to add to the city giving debate, I suspect the city's citzens are still chinese so in terms of reality, it would simply be a changing of flags and protocol for the citzens of the city but their chinese heritage remains.

Hmm...
What evil Japanese conquest type forget to mention is that tank army is one of units that kill an infantry unit! That make significant tactical situation. We have knocked some hp down off meanie unit with bombardment type units (unfortunately it happens to be in a bunker in the trees at the moment...). Meanwhile, in the WTH department, we bombarded a marine in the hills north of Tiyuan.

We cut more rail lines. Thanks to our allies for the gifts :mischief: we will soon put them to good use.

The Dutch failed to destroy the redlined infantry unit near What's that place...

WE suck, I know...

Japanese report war:

Still cleaning weapons.

Chinese:
1 tank near naking;
1 infantary, tayuan;

japs: 1 bomb.

Usa:
1 Mg batallion, ningsing, (i would swear that was a chinese city before);
1 dd usa coast;

commonwealth:

japs lost one bomb.

several enemies wounded or reduced their reponse capability. Many facilities damage.

June of 1942

Killed:
2 destroyers near Portland
1 destroyer near Midway
2 cruisers near Honolulu
1 light tank in China

Lost:
1 sub near Honolulu
1 battleship (redlined a jap battleship near Hilo)
1 american GI in China

The Japanese's fad with weapons cleaning clearly has caught on down under as the Commonwealth high command declared a month of recreational leave for all troops.

There were a few alcohol induced incidents involving drunken soliders, planes and artillery however but the only notable effect was a cut railroad. The alcohol played too much havoc with their aiming.

:lol: :crazyeye: :king:

I am glad the Commonwealth are also taking a break. Soon we all could be drinking sake, when I integrate all of you in the Japanase Empire. :D

The Chinese decided to make it easier on the Japanese to clean their weapons. We figured that if they had fewer weapons, they would not have to clean so many. We bombed their tank army down to 6hp. That should make it much easier to clean the remaining tanks.

We wonder why so many Japanese marines are in China, don't they know that the sea is both south and East? Perhaps you should give them compass lessons along with weapons-cleaning lessons?

Well if you plan on integrating this empire into yours, first you'll have to face our ANZACS though. The minor skirmishes around Bhuket and the Indian fronts seems very un-Japanese-like as they hastily retreats from the fight...one might even say...dishonourably cowardly :mischief:

hehehe, just trying to incite some actions, it seems the Chinese and the US are getting all the attention while the Commonwealth has been neglected. Our boys are suffering from boredom and demands our proper due :D

Played and sent to Yamamoto.

The Dutch lost another Submarine near Menado.

How appropriate that I have a forse that would equal the Canadian contribution to an allied war effort.

Hmm, I wonder if we can mod this to include a Tim Horton's city improvement? Add one gpt per pop, culture 2, one content citizen is made happy...

This was a quiet turn, we have only dropped a few bombs on a destroyer near Midland causing some damage.

Feeling fresh from a month of leave, the Commonwealth starts off this month's of destruction with a japanese subarine sunk near the borders of Rabaul. This intruder clearly had unsavoury intentions upon mainland Australia but was easily picked off by our sentries, sober and alert.

Elsewhere in Indochina, another heavy crusier was sunk near Sibu, a brave fighter pilot sacrifising his life to distract the AA guns of the ship while our bomber wings put a big hole into it.

An expeditionry force was sent towards the borders of Bhuket following heavy overnight shelling of surrounding areas. With careful timing and a little luck in the next few weeks, the Commonwealth hopes to liberate the good people of Bhuket from the evil domination of the occupying japanese.

I have the game...I'll play it once my brain figures out how to load it...

Ok, I figured out how to load it, so I played the beastie

China wiped out a worker in Northern China...don't know why he was left there unguarded...
Bombarded and elite Niponese Infantry down to 2 hp in central China.
Bombarded the Tank Army down to 2 hp and then killed it with a light tank taking 3 hp damage :beer: [party] :worship: :band: :banana:

Victory points (for lurkers) Japan: 14955, Allies 7300

Go allies...only ~8000 VP points to catch up on :(

Good thing we still have 42 turns to do it in, man PBEMs take a long time to get through ;)

Lost another Sub near Tenate. The RNG Hates me I swear! Well, Not here, the Moderators wouldn't like it...
