The Macedonian Hoplites have withdrawn to their side of the border. After minor incursions by both sides an uneasy truce seems to be in place along the Persian-Macedonian border.
Their allies the Egyptians have not fared so well. In a stunning defeat the Egyptian city of Pelusium fell to Persian forces.The Egyptians left 2 reg. Spearmen, 1 reg. Swordman and a reg. War Chariot laying on the battlefield. Persian loses were 1 vet. Horseman and 1 reg. Archer.
The Perian Empire has formed an alliance of convenience with one of the Barbarian tribes.
 
Not much to report from rome at this point. I did have a wonder come up last turn (I think it was Mausoleum of Mausollos (sp?), but am not sure...
 
305BC was a year of peace and happiness in the Persian Empire.
The Persian people enjoyed the fruits of their labour. :band: :beer:

The Colossus has been built, but I don't remember which city it was built in. I'm blaming it on the headache remaining from a real world knock on the head this morning:wallbash:, but it could be that the glorious nation of rome has so many wonders that it would be hard to remember where I put them all! :king:

Lots happening this turn. Persian forces have captured the Egyptian capital Alexandria. Pesian loses were 1 horseman and 1 archer. Egyptian loses were 2 spearmen and 1 archer. One of our galleys was lost in an attack on a Macedonian galley.
The Oracle has been built in the Persian capital to thank the gods for the victories of the Persian army. :worship:
 
I think it's me albeit it's my brain that's away not my body. I completely lost track of the game but I'll play tonight and send it on.

Scyths have attacked a macedonian settler in the north, destroying the settler and it's defending phalanx.
two more phalanx were lost in the north while the enemy lost two of his riders.

A persian galey was sunk near corith.

Persian loses: I Archer and 1 Immortal
A Macedonian galley has been sunk south of Delphi.
The Goths have joined Persia in the war against Macedonia. :mischief:

One Egyptian warrior found wandering in the desert was eliminated by a Persian horseman.
