The Macedonian Hoplites have withdrawn to their side of the border. After minor incursions by both sides an uneasy truce seems to be in place along the Persian-Macedonian border.
Their allies the Egyptians have not fared so well. In a stunning defeat the Egyptian city of Pelusium fell to Persian forces.The Egyptians left 2 reg. Spearmen, 1 reg. Swordman and a reg. War Chariot laying on the battlefield. Persian loses were 1 vet. Horseman and 1 reg. Archer.
The Perian Empire has formed an alliance of convenience with one of the Barbarian tribes.

The Colossus has been built, but I don't remember which city it was built in. I'm blaming it on the headache remaining from a real world knock on the head this morning, but it could be that the glorious nation of rome has so many wonders that it would be hard to remember where I put them all!

Lots happening this turn. Persian forces have captured the Egyptian capital Alexandria. Pesian loses were 1 horseman and 1 archer. Egyptian loses were 2 spearmen and 1 archer. One of our galleys was lost in an attack on a Macedonian galley.
The Oracle has been built in the Persian capital to thank the gods for the victories of the Persian army.
