C3C PBEM : Sengoku - scenario-based PBEM

Got it, played it, sent it yesterday.
Obligatory rant about previous Shogun. "This guy couldn't play civ with a monkey, his brains would rattle in a flea's skull, and oh yeah I need a detailed plan outline." End rant.

Any speacial rules I should know of? Or is this just a good old fashioned game of hurt the other guys?
 
Old fashioned stuff. Except it is regicide by default (Shogun). So you could end up elminitating another shogun (or getting killed) fairly quickly.
Only change : Yamabushi is limited to 1 move (instead of 2) but still has All Terrain as Roads.
 
C'mon guys, lets move it. We've played only 7.5 turns for .... over a month. Actually, it is not bad considering the number of human players. But we'll never finish. It is a very long game. No railroads and fast units and the ships sail forever and map is huge. Let's try to check e-mail and play 2 times per day. :sad:
 
I play as soon as I get it, the turns do not take very long so i can drop everything else I am doing to do so. However, I can only play 1 turn a day, but I dont get 1 turn a day, so I don't.
 
I could play 2 turns per day if the turn around was quicker and it fell in the small window of time when I can access my computer which is 18:30 - 23:00 GMT. Maybe different time zones are screwing us up.

Anyway, I don't mind the slow pace and I'd still be okay if it were going a year from now. I think the big problem is that it's rather boring at the moment because you have still to meet everyone and get involved in a few wars. I think when the action kicks off and regicide starts to take effect then we will see things get more interesting (and of course the turns will get quicker as people die) :)
