We *might* be hitting some snags with email programs this game. Some systems just don't like to handle 1 MB attachments on a consistant basis.

im using gmail which i assume is ok with it being 1gb storage and all, but i dont know what happend this time. it said it sent fine anyway.

if people have msn/aim/icq etc we could use this for certain transfers depending on who has it

winrar can handle .rar and .zip formats but winzip only .zip, if we do sip files as long as we stick to .zip format they will both be fine

@ Perkins ... just as a precaution against further delay, maybe you should zip the file you have and send it to Eric ... I know you have already resent but if the problem was due to the size of the file then the resend may not reach him either. At least this way , one of the versions is bound to reach him.

I have 6 gmail invites as well. I've sent 10 meg attachments to other gmail users before.

I kind of had a sinking feeling that was what was going on...
If you use the "Upload" link at the bottom of the page, you can load files up to 3 MB here on this site and then put the link into your post (as opposed to the new-fangled VB attached to you login stuff upload). We could try that.

The Graf Spee was doomed from the start unlike the majority of Meditteranean Ships... It was out in the middle of the Atlantic for some reason at the start of the war...

I got one copy of the normal file and 2 or 3 copies of the zipped file.

zipping the file took it down form about 7xx kb to 5xx kb

Tripolis:
-4 Art, 3 Breda Dive Bombers & 2 Bombers bombard French stack west of Tripolis killing 1 Inf (Fr). Italian 1st Army, 2 Tanks def. 4 Inf remaining.

Paris (and N. France):
-Bombardment by 9 Heinkel 1112, 5 Dorniers, 4 Ju 88s, 1 ME 109 & 1 ME 110. Bombardment killed 1 French Inf and destroyed infrastructure in the French Countryside. Attack by 1 SS Inf & 3 Inf resulted only in German losses. German losses also included 3 Ju 88s, 1 Heinkel 111 & 1 ME 109 (all to French Mobile Sam). British Spitfires also intercepted and shot down 2 Heinkel 111s.

@ Rocotech, personally the mobile sam seems to be too strong. Of all the planes I sent to bombard Paris, only 1 was not shot down by a mobile sam (instead it shot down a French fighter). I know that air losses in WW2 were high, but from what I know, the majority of planes were shot down by other planes. If 5 planes out of 6 being shot down by a mobile sam seems high, let me know...
