C3C PBEM -WWII-Game Thread (Tomorrow Belongs to Me)

To all: I finally got my computer up and running. It had a problem that made the computer constantly reboot and there was nothing I could do. I had to wipe my hard drive and reinstall Windows XP. I am currently downloading all patches, drivers, and reinstalling all my programs. I should be able to play again real soon. Thanks for being patient.

I have the turn in my inbox. Should I play it or has Rcoutme already played it?

You should play it. I didn't send it to Rcoutme because I never saw his message. (My fault!)

Guys, I can't get this scenario to load. I d/l it and installed it but keep getting missing files. Can someone tell me how to get it working again?

Woohoo! Thanks Thrust. I forgot I had to download that separate set of files with the units or whatnot in them. Anyway, I'm back in the game. Played and sent to the wonderful Italians.

But not before having a little fun with the Ruskies.

Germany:
Lost a bomber over Minsk.
Lost a bomber over Kiev.

Russia:
Lost a fighter over Kiev.
Bombed an infantry at Kiev.
Bombed some roads at Sevastopol.

BATTLE REPORT
--------------

Italy
1 tank North Africa

Germany
Bombed France
1 Sub English Channel

England
1 destroyer English Channel

Fair is fair, since the French kept on bombing us even though we left their territory, we blew apart their harbor in Bastia, Corsica.

Never in the field of human conflict, have so few screenies been posted...

If posted as attachments in a zip, then there can be no accidental viewing by the other combatants of enemy positions.

Another quiet month waiting for the Allies to launch an attack.

Russia:
Bombed all the roads around Rybinks

England:
Sank a destroyer sneaking towards Sweden

The band played on for many Italian fighter pilots. Their widows were given many honors and we salute their galiant efforts in our continuing quest to halt the evil English agression.

No other news to report.

Umm...no it isn't...and Germany did that way early in the game...with Athens and Sparta...although that was sort of pre-arranged

Giving cities: See point 10 in house rules recap post #2 of this thread.

That rule was created to avoid that the Russians give cities to the Allies from which the Allies could stage an offensive from the Eastern Front, helping the russian effort.

I only mentioned this rule again because someone was offering England a city.

I have no problerm with Sparta and Athens.

Oops...my bad. Shall we amend this rule to not giving cities that the other could not otherwise easily take for themselves? Thus, if garrison troops are already waiting, etc. for a freshly (within the last 3 turns) conquered city, or for any retaken city, then it can be transferred?

Another quiet month for the Germans as we plan our next major move.

Russia:
Bombed the road from Petrozadovsk to Kem.

Sweden:
Bombed a tank to dust near Leningrad.
