Ok, i have posted the notice asking for a replacement. I am going to do the French turn, so as to keep things going, and also to create a new password for him while we wait for someone to join, which hopefully might be by the time the French turn comes around again...

I was on a short work trip to Hamburg (Germany), we had a deadline there and needed to get things as finished as possible... It all went very well, so it was worth all the stress, but I forgot to mention I was away. (I did have an out-of-office reply saying i was away, only it should have stated today in stead of monday)

Well, since we are friends, I welcome you back with open arms. BUT, since we are friends I am confident enough to tell you that I am not very happy with what has happened because it has made me waste a lot of time posting here , sending emails, posting to look for a replacement, etc etc.
I just want you to realize that it has been a problem for me specially.

I know, I've had 2 players who didn't respond in a game of mine, took very much work to organize everything, check who was still active, find replacement etc. Sorry for that. I'll give you some more cash ingame

Der Furher is please to announce that France has been wiped out on the European continent. There are a few meager French cities in Africa but we do not concern oursleves with those cities. We are preparing for the allied invasion which is sure to come. We have seen the cruisers and transports just off the northern coast of old-France. We tried to sink the escorts but failed. We will do better next month, we must do better next month!

Waves of cheering spectators lined the streets of Rome as Rcoutme, the leader of the Italian Empire, announced that France and Italy are once again at peace! Yes! that's right, France and Italy have signed a peace agreement!

We can only hope that the evil English can see the futility of their war of aggression against the peaceful peoples of central Europe and follow their French betters.

On the combat front: Very little to report. We notice that the French Fleet is still in Italian waters, but we expect that to be alleviated soon.

The Fuhrer, Dogboy, will be taking my next few turns since I will be on vacation.

Quiet month for France.

Very quiet month for the Germans. My mouse is sticking so when I came out of the city screen mode, my mouse double clicked and ended my turn for me. I didn't want to reload the game so...I suck this turn.

The evil English did not take our peace offers to heart and murdered many Italian citizens who were attending a wedding feast in Tobruk. In response we bombed their island base of Malta and destroyed a fighter squadron on the tarmac.

In addition, there are some English ships outside of Tripoli harbor, so we bombed them too.

PS: Dogboy, regarding reloading, since we are using the honour system, I personally am not worried if due to force majeur reasons one has to do a reload; the main thing is not to take advantage of that in game terms.

This was a quiet month for the Third Reich. It seems as if there isn't anybody left to fight at the moment. Der Furher knows that will change when the Russians throw in their lot with the allies (a futile attempt) but at the moment it was just quiet.
