Apparently Germany does not own the seas anymore. England has been sinking quite a large number of my submarines. This leads me to believe that they have discovered the technology to detect subs. I guess it's time to withdraw my blockade. It also appears as if I'm not the only one with subs out lurking around...
battle report
-sank an unknown sub just outside Oslo.
England:
Bombed Southampton and killed a citizen. Bombed that newly built road there
The last thing I received was aug '42 and sent it to RubberJello at October the 6th. At october the 7th I received a GPS from him and that's all I've seen since.
Bastia was stormed and conquered by Roman Legions who fed the residents to lions, tigers and other wild beasts in the games in the Coliseum of Rome...er...um...I mean the Italians captured...unh walked into the burning wreck....something like that. Anyways...Corsica is now an abandoned island hill.
In other notes a transport got engine trouble off of Tripoli and disappeared. Rescue operations are now underway to look for the crew of the vessel. The Italian Air Force bombed the hell out of the infrastructure around the cities in French North Africa. That's all folks.
Eeeerrrr there seems to be a problem with the last turn file which doesn't allow me to retrieve it, besides the fact that it might be dangerous for my PC...what can be done?
I'm glad you are enjoying your game. Unfortunately I have to say that for quite a while now some of us,, including me and i suspect France, are continuing this game out of courtesy although we realize it really is just a solitaire German player...
If everybody thinks that the Axis have won and there is no way the Allies can catch up then we should quit. I appreciate the Allies playing the game out of courtesy, but I don't want to continue if nobody is having fun.
Let's hear from Russia, what do they say?
As for the English, i just don't see any way of catching up. We can't get near any coast because of superior German entrechment and air coverage, and i suspect germany has quite a large an dgood land army (as it has reported so few losses of any kind of units throughout the whole game...)
