Wake
- DD Mugford sunk a DD escorting CV Hiryu.
DD Mugford 4/4 vs IJN DD 5/5; DD Mugford 1/4, IJN DD 0/5.
- SS Dolphin attacked the CV Hiryu.
SS Dolphin 4/4 vs CV Hiryu 3/3; SS Dolphin 0/4, CV Hiryu 2/3. Boo.
- IJN BC Hiei was sunk after being hit by a medium bomber and torpedo bomber.
- BB Colarado rammed an I-Boat and nearly went down with it.
BB Colarado 3/3 vs I-Boat ?/?; BB Colarado 2/4 (promoted), I-Boat 0/?.

Japan
- SS Spearfish attacked a fast transport while loading at Okinawa.
SS Spearfish 4/4 vs FT 3/3; SS Spearfish 0/4, FT 1/4. These subs suck.

Papua New Guinea
- CL Detroit attacked a fast transport south of Truk.
CL Detroit 5/6 vs FT 4/4; CL Detroit 5/6, FT 0/4.
- CA Indianapolis shelled another fast transport south of Truk, but missed.
- SS Pike followed up with an attack.
SS Pike 4/4 vs FT 4/4; SS Pike 0/4, FT 3/4. ........
- Then came SS Perch.
SS Perch 5/5 vs FT 3/4; SS Perch 4/5, FT 0/4. Yessssss, a victory!
 
Bombed Hanoi, injuring some units and destroying the library. The latter was done on purpose so that the Japanese can call us 'ignorant-lovers'.

- Filipino infantry liberated Davao! At least one IJN vessel is scuttled in port.
US Inf 3/3 vs Jap Paratroopers 3/3; US Inf 2/4 (promoted), Jap Paratroops 0/3.

- A US DD chases down the CV Hiryu and her escourt, but the CV escapes again.
DD Cassin 4/4 vs DD Wakaba 4/4, DD Cassin 0/4, DD Wakaba 2/4.

- A US patrol sinks a fast transport moving between Rabaul and Truk but takes heavy losses from escourts.
SS-33 4/4 vs CL Yabari 6/6; SS-33 0/4, CL Yabari 6/6.
CA Louisville 4/4 vs CL Yabari 6/6, CA Louisville 1/4, CL Yabari 0/6.
CL Detroit 5/6 vs DD Yanagi 5/5, CL Detroit 0/6, DD Yanagi 4/5.

East of Guadalcanal

CLAA atlanta sunk by I-boat

1 dutch inf killed on Borneo by Nip. Inf Div.
Unknown sub (possibly USN) was sunk by BC NE of Wake I.

Week 14, 1942

China:
A biplane fighter shoots down a zero (how embarrassing!) near Lanchow.
3 Chinese infantry divs. damaged by bombardment but no attacks, we are
regrouping for our next push.

Indian Ocean
I-boat sinks CW transport 6 tiles west of Rangoon.

Borneo:
Ketapang captured in combined land-sea assault by 14th corp
and an SNLF unit. 2 Dutch militias killed.

South Pacific
CA New Orleans damaged by Kate SW of Tarawa.
 
GPS Week 12, 1942

-In a shocking action, the BB Yamoto is sunk by a US DD!
BB Colarado attempted to shell the mighty battleship, but failed to score any hits.
DD Cassin 4/4 vs BB Yamoto 5/5; DD Cassin 2/4, BB Yamoto 0/5.

-This left the Japanese transports and carriers vulnerable. If only there were more US ships!
DD Dewey 5/5 vs IJN Fast Transport 4/4; DD Dewey 4/5, IJN FT 0/4.
US DD 4/4 vs IJN Fast Transport; US DD 0/4, IJN FT 2/5. (promoted)
US DD Farragut 2/5 vs CV Zuikaku 4/4; DD Farragut 0/5, CV Zuikaku 4/5 (promoted).

Ah, nuts. My attempt to punch into the middle of the IJN fleet worked, I just didn't have enough firepower to do real damage.

-A sortie of aircraft hit Rabaul, destroying a betty(?) on the ground and the town's marketplace.

-Shelled the paratrooper at Tarawa.

I know I shouldn't do this, but I reloaded the save after I was done and attacked the IJN fleet in a different order, sinking a FT and two CV's! *sigh* Ah well, what could of been. ;)

Rangoon and Hanoi bombed. 1 plane destroyed on the ground and units injured.

Dutch sub failed in the attempt of sinking a DD near Ketapang.

China
Two Chinese infantry divs destroyed by corps one near Lanchow,
one near Hanoi.

One guerilla killed near Peking, another near Mukden.
