Eric, I don't have the turn in front of me but am I right that China can only hurry units via killing off citizens?
What is the intended form of Gov for China??

The Chinese goverment is a modified form of feudalism, I
changed the unit rushing in V1.03 to paid labor but in the version
we used for this game it still kills citizens.

What is the AI's status in regards to non-Communist China in the version we are playing?
I'll need to hold onto the turn until this question is answered. Thanks!

Eric, You might want to rethink that. I have the Commie AI sending hordes of guerillas against me. Ideaology-wise they were fighting the Nationalists. But physically they engaged and hated the Japanese more. Certainly from the standpoint of the Nationalists..their deployment of troops aimed to deny Mao's guerillas from gaining access to the heart of China. But I'm not aware of battles between the two opposing forces. This point in fact infuriated Stillwell in trying to coordinate combined attacks with the British! They said they couldn't because they needed to have troops in place to keep Mao out of their areas.

I think having them neutral towards China or in the Alliance against the Japs would be more realistic historically and within the limitations of the Civ 3 engine???

Hey Eric, can paratroopers actually land on empty enemy airfields?

I've made two attempts at it so far (different games), and both failed.

I did sorry (GPS better late than never!). I promise to be quicker next time! I've stalled the last two turns.

GPS Week 6, 1942

- US DD rams an I-Boat south-west of Truk, sinking the I-Boat without taking damage.
- A US Fast Transport was lost after it crossed the path of an I-Boat south-west of Wake. A US DD followed up and sunk the I-Boat without futher damage.
- CA Indianapolis attacks DD Asanagi as it escorts transports.
US CA 4/5 vs IJN DD 4/5; US CA 2/5, IJN DD 0/5.

CL Tenryu suffered an attack from under the water and was injured but survived.

An I-boat near Singapore had the same luck, sinking a Dutch sub.

Eric, what are the sub feature on this game version? Are they able to make stealth attacks? I was trying to attack the transports with the sub but I wasn't able to pick the target. Correct feature or bug?

Botman, we all have RL, so sometimes we delay the game because of it. So what? I think it's better a steady player that not always plays immediately than an unstable one.

Luthor:
You have stealth attack against all ships except destroyers & fast
transports. You do not have stealth attack against other subs.
There is also the civ stealth attack bug to consider. If a single ship
such as a transport is stacked with only destroyers you won't have
the option of stealth attack.

Near Changsha; Chinese land and air forces attack and injure the Corps near the city.

Spot IJA Corps west of Hong Kong moving west with a Lt tank unit behind it to the east.

Calling all Allied Air units to engage...engage...enga.
