C3C PBEM : "Zama" - Rise of Rome scenario-based PBEM

Well, I definitely want to play again (whether or not I'm a diety player...). To summarize, I think we've all agreed to the following rules:

No AI Diplomacy first turn, no worker buys, wars or alliances for first 10 turns.
(Same as last game).
No more than one MA w/AI civ vs. the same civ at a time.
No razing/abandoning cities. (Or a limited amount, I haven't heard any discussion yet).
Emperor level AI (at least).
Random Civ assignments.

Any others?

Also, I assume we are officially declaring the original Zama dead, so I will post some final screenshots from my side of the Med, probably tomorrow.

well if a new player still needed, and if you all agree, I will enjoy participate in a new ROR scenario! :)

I am not a deity or something like that, but have some expereince on it (and mp and sp too).

Anyway is up to you guys, if other player take the place, is fine to me also.
I think the random civs could be nice, though I would like to try other civ besides persia, since i am playing as persia in other game.

Yama

Btw, you guys finished this game in 3 months!

Have a nice game ! If needed I can set it up but I guess you know one another now and all know how to start a game = community thriving, Loulong can rest lol

Warning : nice if you can bring someone from the "outside", new players are always good to have !

I will consider this one finished, kind of "won" by Romans afetr Carthage's forfeiting !

I am willing to play with whoever, so have warningU2 bring in one of his buddies.

WarningU2, if you have other friends interested in joining PBEMs, make them come ! :)

BTW so that you don't get mixed up, "Pydna" is completely different from your game.
But it might be best for you to start a new thread.

Ok.
Rules
1) 1 MA at a time.
2) NO razing or abandoning your own cities unless they are size 1 with no culture.
3) AP is off.
4) No phony wars with your locked opponenet.

Ok Romeothemonk, Justus II, Studsoccer, and me ... Should I start the announcement and a new thread and kick this off or will you Romeothemonk ?

I thought we were not going to allow abandoning cities or at least limit it to 3 cities total for any civ ?

WarningU2, you can go ahead and start the new thread if you want, we can call it Zama2. We need Loulong (or someone) to randomly assign the civs, then whomever is Rome (since they go first) should start the game. I have the starting .BIQ file (with AP off), and will edit it to be Emperor difficulty, then send it to whomever is chosen.

For all our lurkers out there (DGFred, are you still around? ;) ), here's some screenshots from my last turn.

Persia starts on the points lead due to their initial size. That is the real challenge of the Greeks, or whoever, to score more points than the persians.

As Romeo mentioned before, the problem is that with Carthage now out of the picture, Rome can now settle North Africa and Spain unopposed, and easily take out the Celts. With 3 armies, it would probably take 10 turns or less, especially since I have most of his Gallics cut off in southern Spain... ;) Then, it's just a matter of how fast I can crank out the 1-pop citizens and settle all that land, while they are still locked in a war against one another. Not a very exciting strategy, but very effective at this point.

OK, I've started the Zama2 thread. Check in and let me know everyone's preference on razing/abandoning cities (total ban, or allow a limited number, like 2-3). I am emailing Loulong to ask him to choose civs.
