I do think that the CFC Structure is very structurally sound, just a couple minor tweaks need to be made.

1) Off Topic split into a Politics/Current Events Forum, and Off Topic,
2) Search Function re-enabled - So long as this will not slow down the site at all
3) Civ 4 Forum starting.

My preference is (3), (1), (2)

I know Thunderfall has got to be reading these threads. It's obvious the majority of posters support no new forums, so if the decision is that there are to be none, all these threads arguing for them should be closed.

I doubt it will be changed for a long time. When/if the devlopers ask for a civ4 forum or TF decides what to do with the Conquests forum is most likely going to be the only changes made.

Good luck, buddy! After tallying up the polls from both our threads, 53% of the respondents are opposed to any change in current forum structure and another 7% would like to see Politics banned outright or consider nonCiv content off-topic.

Well, I am sure TF will look only at the Poll in the "Politics and Current Events" Sub Forum, although one never really knows with these dictators . . .

I am more concerned with the results of the poll in the "Politcs and Current Events" Sub Forum thread poll. And I am assuming that the heretics that want Politics banned from CFC are crazy, or joking, so I simply ignore them . . .
