Your father-in-law needs some internet security lessons.Does he know I can find your ip with the bat of an eye?Dial up IPs are change every time you log on.Dedicated connections(cable dsl) need to have a firewall up that can be lowered when desired.

I tend to agree with Smash. Posting IP addreess is no big deal. This world is not THAT dangerous.
