I have been updating and downloading and I can't get it too work.

What I want is to play a map of Earth with the civs starting in the correct locations using Conqeusts. I have been trying Marla Singers map and having no luck at all.

I downloaded a map and Japan and Fance were in North America in 4,000 BC and they had radio towers. I was told that I was using a "vanilla" civ map with conquests and that was screwing things up. So I have gone out and found other maps and still no luck with starting locations and the last map I downloaded. The final earth map from Marla Singer doesn't give me the option to choose any civs that came with the expansion packs.

I don't care if you want to be an idiot about it or make smart remarks just as long as you also help me play the world map the way I am asking.

-Thanks.

Try using Rhye's Earth Map. It's slightly smaller than Marla's (180 x 180), but it is made for Conquests. TETurkhan's map is 362 x 362, the biggest a map can get. The area of it is 4 times the size of a huge map, so if you try it, be prepared for LONG turns.

If you have the GOTM Mod will these work with Mac? Thanks in advance!

If you have a Mac, since you don't have PTW or C3C, you can use Marla_Singer's World Map.

Then go to File -> Import, and select the checkbox for Rules and Players and navigate to the GOTM editor file to import the rules for the GOTM mod on this world map.

Is that what you were asking? I'm not quite sure - if not, let me know. :)
