Can text size be increased in FFH2?

Sorry to take up a whole thread with this, but I've been searching the forums and I can't quite tell how or if the text in FFH2 can be made bigger (for high-res screens)...

Please help! My eyes are imploding into white-hot ball bearings. I look like the burning undead. Can anyone resolve this resolution issue for me?

All i can think of would be lowering the resolution. Sorry. There is no option to increase the text size in game iirc. Maybe it could be modded in python, but I'm just guessing here.
