Can we get a C3C MSDG announcement in all civ3 forums?

Despite that this might just be the largest civ3 website online, our team only has a few good players. Most good players either:

A) aren't playing because they don't know about it/don't want to (I would guess the first of the two),
B) Are on other teams. It's really too bad CDZ is playing for example, because that website is all CFC players, not playing for CFC :(

Thus to increase participation and keep this website's reputation up, I suggest civ3 moderators or Thunderfall have an announcement in all civ3 forums to join the C3C ISDG, with a links to:
http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=70441 (signup)
http://forums.civfanatics.com/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=93 (unsecure forum)

And let people know when they sign up it'll be a few days, maybe over a week before they have secret access. :satan: (kinda sad the closest smilies to sneaky are satan and mischief man :p)

I'll have to agree with this, the only partcipation we see from CFC is wizard, while the other teams tend to have two to three people posting inside of the UN.

Also, as this is still inside of the rules discussion, and not to the game itself, now's the perfect time to sign up.

PM eyrei or Donovan about it... I have no problem with Civ3 Demo Game mods posting announcement about the game on Civ3 forums and the main site news.

CFC probably has this problem because the MSDG was not supported here initially so it was far easier for people to join the other Demo teams who were official.

What is that supposed to mean? :hmm:

I have tried to get DZ to pst an announcement, but he only posted at the C3C forum...:undecide:

Hygro, we play for CDZ for good reasons, as explained there ;)

I hope you cna convince some of the CFC-only regulars to join!

That in the original discussions of playing multi team democracy games, TF didn't think it would be a good idea so the first multi team democracy games had to be held at GC. So people ended up posting on GC and now play for their team in the multi site demo games.

These intersite games can with good and dedicated leadership create a fun forum game. Nearly the entire GC regular membership was involved in ptw game. Oh what fun we have in our team, mostly because of our dedicated players and active discussion. ;)

And our crazy diplomats. :mischief:

Thunderfall, I think I'll do just that.

Argh, why is it that the largest civsite has the smallest ISDG team?

See above, not everyone is going to be interested in playing an MSDG and quite a few of those people had to leave to play the first MTDG and have stuck with those teams.

The CFC team has been pretty disgraceful during the current game. They have repeatedly missed talks and held up the game for days. It's an insult to the hard work that the other teams obviously put into it.

...which despite not often being the case, is COMPLETELY offtopic.

Thanks for the feedback. I will have a Main Page announcement out by Monday. I believe that the original request was delayed due to my getting the Single Player DG4 up and running.

However, I am now quite active in both our current ISDGs, so this shouldn't be a problem now. Even though I have every confidence in our current band of warriors, we could always use more.

Again, thanks. :)
