I built my own PC at Christmas.
My Specs are now:
AMD Phenom II X4 3.4ghz
8GB DDR3 Ram
Radeon 6870
Now I know this PC has run everything I have tried on it with max settings and 4x AA.
But am I right in thinking that CIV4 has problems itself with Huge maps?
I have only ever been able to play 'standard' maps on my laptop. So I was hoping to start a Rise of Mankind: New Dawn game on a huge or even gigantic map as I have never been able to play this mod properly on my laptop (too slow).
Just looking for some advice before I jump in as I like to play everything on slowest and don't want to be stuck later on with the game at a crawl.
ps. I also got Civ5 but its lack of features means I want to still with Rise of Mankind for now.
Thanks for the help.
