Hey guys

Just wondering if there could be another improvement for FfH. Seeing as forts no longer allow for sea travel, maybe an improvement like canals could be introduced? These could work like railroads (in that they are built on top of roads), and will allow ship movement? This could be hard, but I'm trying to think of ways to allow ship passage through those small (and regular) spurs of land :)

Pirate coves will do it. But only the Lanun can build them.
 
Not really; pirates coves turn the tile to water, so land units won't be able to cross there.

You could edit it yourself, changing the <ActAsCity> tag from a 0 to a 1 for some improvement (such as a citadel). This will also let them harness resources though.
 
Yeah I know about the pirate coves, but as Magister says, it blocks the passage of land units. Also, I rarely play as the Lanun (though used to a while ago). I'm trying out the new FfH 0.31e as the Sheaim now that I don't have a priority rush for writing :)
