Cannot convert to Judaism

I just started a game as ancient Egypt and had Judaism spread to one of my cities. Hoping to reap the benefit of an actual religion I tried to convert, but found that I couldn't. Any idea why? My religious civic is Deification. I couldn't find anything in Civilopedia.

Converting to Judaism requires control of Jewish holy city. I think this mechanic is mainly to prevent every ancient civilization around Mediterranean converting to Judaism when it spreads to one of their cities.

That's neat, I didn't know that. Though I guess that also prevents a Khazar-style conversion.

That makes sense. It would be good to add it to the Civilopedia (or maybe its there but I just didn't find it)

If I remember correctly, when I did convert to Judaism as Egypt and opened up the victory screen, I got a bunch of python errors from teh UHV display. I was on a lower version though
