That is fine, I have been in similar stituations and have gotten out relativley unscathed. But this one might give me a more difficult stituation and I am ready to attack it head on.
Also if you could explain to me what or who the Eye of God is? My guess from reading the history, is that they are a revolutionary group and they have destroyed our space program. Is my assumption correct?

You said you'll work on cities, so here is my contribution for Turkey: top 10 cities in the controlled territory (with 2007 pop estimates in millions).

I decided not to include cities, due to map and I'm lazy. (But your contribution will be rewarded. ) The religion is good.
The Eye of God is actually a religious group. (Hence the name)
They believe that space is not a place where humans are bound to settle. (Colonization) They believe God's creation, Man, should stay where they have originally stayed. This is why they keep on sabotaging the colonization programs.
