First Citizen of Rome
As Andrew walked towards Air Force One at JFK International Airport in New York City one of his aides ran up to him and handed him a folder, on the folder were the words, "Confidential" in big red letters. Andrew sighed, he recieves at least 5 of these a day, he stepped on the latter. His aide shouted, "Mr. President, you need to read that immediatly!" Andrew waved behind him meaning he understood.
Once Andrew was seated and the plane took off, he opened the folder and began to read the first paragraph, shortly aftwards the papers fell to the ground and Andrew showed disbelief, one of his aides rushed to him and asked, "Are you ok Mr. President?" Andrew looked at the aide and said, "I am fine Scott, where is Cassidy? I must speak with her." Scott turned and left, shortly afterwards Cassidy entered the office. Andrew scooped up the papers and handed them to her, "Read this."
After Cassidy read it, she asked, "What do you want us to do?"
"How are the military forces abroad, can they be redirected to other fronts?"
"We are negotiating with the French and it looks good so far. If we succeed we can redirect our entire military to this threat, that means veteran soldiers and tank crews. The war will start well for us. But it is in the long run that scares me."
"Well it may not come to it, but with the recent stance they have taken towards the world it may be our only option."
"Well whatever you order sir, our army will be ready."
"Thank you Cassidy, that is great news. You may go now."
Cassidy stood up and saluted, she was dissapointed, this meeting was only between the Secretary of Defense and the President. She sighed but she knew the president was stressed from stituations like this.
Andrew turned to the phone and dialed a number, after a few rings a man answered and Andrew started speaking, "Hello, I have a proposition for you....."
