CarmenNES03: Kaiserreich

OOC: I think I was about as accommodating as I could be to them... Even asking others to not fight them and let them live after this one screw up, but I mean... come on!

OOC: USA- your DOW will only increase the revolts and make your people even angrier, thus increasing your dissent. Good luck fighting a war overseas and a civil war at home.

OOC: You should read stories man, as per my negotiations with the unions (carmen) we reached an agreement at home over the unrest. But this is too much OOC

OOC: Yeah, Storm, you were definitely the least aggressive of the group when it came to opposing the Syndies. I guess it just goes to show, they can really pick 'em, eh? =P Makes my job easier anyway.

Back IC though, ok guys?

Oh my, nearly forgot this.

[Riveting Speech]

To the Great Workers of the Union,

Rejoice! The tyrant enemy, the false King George, has finally died! But alas, comrades, his son Edward still lives, and as long as there are monarchs and capitalists, we will be under constant threat.

We will destroy the evil that is against Syndicism, ground thier corrupt leaders into dust and free thier workers for a better future!

For the Glorious Name of Marx!

It is my sincere hope that you will understand you cannot hope to truly compete in this conflict. In the last war, nations of greater strength opposed Germany and her allies, and were defeated. Now, Germany faces weaker opponents and has stronger allies. You have no hope.

My suggestion is to to take this opportunity to separate yourselves from the aggressors, and to show that syndicalism can promote peace, rather than violence, and I will do my best to ensure that your choices in government are respected, for it is not the idea of syndicalism to which I am opposed, but the result: aggression, corruption, and a blatant disregard for others.

I shall not sign your document for the moment, as the wording is quite harsh. I see no reason why the syndicalists cannot exist so long as they cease being aggressive, both through the waging of war and of violent revolutions.

If they continue their current path, however, I shall come into agreement with such a position on syndicalism, most especially should more syndicalists through in their lot with the International Commune.

From Commune of France

We have all heard there talk on syndicalism. They want to get rid of it forever. And that means declaring war on you once sicily and Myself are gone. We need to stand together and fight right now, or else syndicalism will stand no chance in this world.
Ignore the comment above made by Italy. Yes if you stay out of this war for now you will stay in peace but not for much longer Because again, they seek to get rid of syndicalism.

From Qing Empire
To World

After all of the comments regarding the Italian situation the Empire finds itself in the strange position of agreeing with Japan, USA, and the Pope. We also have no real concern for the Christian faith, but find ourselves opposed to the rhetoric and actions of syndicalism movement.

To: Pope Pius XI
From: Japan

Our present position and that of the document's isn't to eradicate syndicalism per se, so much as it is to drastically curb its growth. We are firm believers that syndicalism will implode by its very nature as being an ineffectual and worthless ideology.

The United States remains fully committed to a peaceful solution to the crisis. We believe that the best solution is for France and Sicily to withdraw immediately from Italy, and for Italy to accept the fact that there will be no reparations.

Furthermore, the United States is willing to guarantee the independence of both France and Sicily, as some nations have turned this crisis into a crusade against an ideology rather than an international effort to protect the sovereignty of Italy.

From the German Reich
To the International Community

Faced with the blatant disregard for the rule of law, international diplomacy, the complete rejection of all proposed compromises, and constant threats to escalate a regional conflict into a new Weltkrieg, Chancellor von Papen has regretfully asked the Reichstag to support a Declaration of War against the Commune of France and the Republic of the Sicilies, after assent was given by Kaiser Wilhelm I. It passed with the overwhelming support of all major parties (even the sozialdemokraten).

We reiterate that we are only at war with these two nations. This should not be viewed as a war against syndicalism as a whole, but as a war to prevent wanton aggression against peaceful states. Only France and Sicily have done any wrong; however, if more nations join them in their folly, then they will suffer the price.

Deutchsland uber alles.
